“Exceeded our expectations!!”
Reviewed October 28, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Having seen the Tripadvisor reviews and checked out the photos & details we expected something special. We were not disappointed: the quality of the fittings/appliances, the lovely views and the warm welcome from Christine & Rob (including the Welshcakes & fresh farm eggs) makes this a very special holiday rental. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the coastal path walks and St David's itself- the coastal path is just 2 fields away!
If you want the comfort of home and the convenience of the great outdoors you cannot improve on Cariad Cottage. Just ideal for couples of any age!
Our only disappointment was the cancellation of a trip to Ramsey Island due to the sea conditions- we will return to have a resit!

“beautiful cottage by the sea”
Reviewed October 10, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We had a perfect stay at Cariad Cottage! The cottage is in a stunning location, just a few minutes walk through fields to the coastal path and not far outside St Davids. The cottage itself is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. After a windy days walking on the coast we enjoyed coming home to this cosy and comfortable cottage. The owners were very welcoming and even provided cakes milk and tea for our arrival! We will definitely return.

“Fantastic location, wonderful cottage”
Reviewed September 29, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed in this wonderful cottage for 3 nights in august/september. On arrival we had a very friendly greeting from the owners including home made cakes. The cottage is small but beautifully done up and perfect for a couple. A highlight was having breakfast on the lovely balcony. Even though it is next to a farm house and near a campsite it has a lovely secluded feel. The stunning coast and coastal path is a 5 minute walk across a field. We definitely hope to return.

“Sanctuary In A Storm”
Reviewed September 18, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

A darkening sky met us as we drove across the Severn Bridge and then the heavens opened and the wind blew. We arrived at Cariad Cottage late in the evening to be greeted by Rob, the owner, who showed us around and then brought tea, milk and biscuits to revive us.
We were so pleased to have arrived in such a warm and welcoming environment. The cottage is attached to the farm house but there is total independence. It was wonderful to see the views across the camping field, also part of the farm, from the upstairs lounge the next morning.
The accommodation is well decorated throughout with modern appliances and the bonus of having a small balcony from the lounge.
A perfect position for a single or two people to take advantage of the coastal path towards Solva or St Davids and the small beach nearby.
We would definitely book again next time we are down in Pembroke.

“What a view”
Reviewed September 15, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

This delightful cottage has superb views over the bay. It has been converted very thoughtfully and has all the extra touches that made our stay so enjoyable. Our dogs really enjoyed their stay as well and liked the walks along the coastal path and down to the beach very much. The added bonus were the wild mushrooms growing in the adjacent fields which made breakfast
