Pleased you enjoyed your stay. Come back soon!
This is a really splendid house with two very good double bedrooms at the front, one twin bed at the rear and a small double (but really a single) downstairs. The kitchen, dining room and sitting rooms were al;l very well appointed and lacked nothing we could think of. The kitchen, with double doors opening onto a sea-view patio was particularly good. Some of our friends had issues with the plumbing, and certainly there was a sense it had been cheaply put together. Seats were loose, taps were hard to turn - that kind of silly but irritating annoyance. Our disappointment was the garden at the rear (hence one star taken off); It had obviously been a lovely garden with many interesting shrubs and plants, but it was unkempt and weed-strewn. We had glorious weather during the week of our stay, so it would have been good to sit out in the garden. But there was no garden furniture of any kind, so nowhere to sit but on our own picnic rugs. We attempted a barbecue, but that too was difficult; the barbecue provided was very old, very wobbly and frankly unsafe if children had been around.
Thanks for your feedback. Sadly your visit was at a slightly difficult time for the gardens with pretty much continual wet spring weather before your visit, but we hope that they have been more picturesque since! Barbeque replaced! The ground floor bedroom is about the same floor area as the others as you can see from the floorplan. Perhaps the large fireplace makes it seem smaller. Would love to have you back!
Stayed with our grandchildren and had a great time. Best rental house I have ever stayed in. We all loved it, happy children, happy parents and happy Nain and Taid
Very much enjoyed our stay at Laugharne, we were very lucky and had a dry sunny week,
visited all of the castles in the area and the lovely beaches, the dog loved Pendine Sands, she could run for miles on the great beach, lovely café there and the car park is free!
Everything you we needed in the lovely house. Would recommend.
