“Absolutely breath taking, peaceful and beautiful.”

Absolutely loved my visit to YS falls. It's heavenly and so naturally beautiful. On arrival you get carted through the cattle ranch up to the falls. It has changed alot since 2001. They now have stoney fresh water swimming pools with deck chairs. Perfect for small children to splash about in. The falls the self are amazing. On one level there is a rope to swing from into the freezing but refreshing water. Up on a higher level the water is deeper and oh so refreshing. There's enough room to swim about. Even little fishes and shrimp swimming around the rocks. There are restaurants and gift shops by the falls and at the entrance. Worth the reasonable entrance fee. For the adventurous type they now have high ropes for visitors to swing/ glide across different points of the falls. That is also reasonably priced and you have a guide with you to secure your safety equipment and advise as you go along. Highly recommended to visit

YS Falls is a beautiful cascade in the midst of rain forest vegetation. Walkways and steps allow the visitor to see all sections of the falls, and the park has a zip line, swimming for families, attractive grounds with picnic tables, and a fun tractor-pulled cart to get visitors to the falls themselves. The ride in is part of the fun.

“YS Falls = Best day of Trip!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 February 2012

YS was great!! We did the zipline right away before we got wet. It was a blast! Then hung out in the falls. There are a bunch of people offering to take your picture in exchange for a tip. You don't have to but they really know how to use cameras and it is worth the nice pic for the couple of bucks. They know where to have you stand for the best shot.
The grounds are amazing. You can easily spend all day there.
$15 for the falls and $42 per person for the zipline.

“Fantastic waterfalls & surrounding area.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 February 2012

Visited with my wife after we had been to the Black river. The coach tour arrived a little late so we did not really have enough time to explore & swim in the falls. we walled right to the top which took around 25 mind at a relaxed pace. Took some great photos, but don`t let the guide take photos for you, he is not so good with the camera & then wants a tip, beware.
We saw the hummingbirds, they were amazing & did have a paddle.
I would say you need about 3 hours to do this justice & be aware that the falls closes around 3.30pm so get there early.
The tractor ride from the car park to the falls takes 15 mins so take this into consideration as well.
Having said all that we would recommend to anyone, couples, families etc.
