Super stay

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed May 15, 2024
Super place. On arrival I was less sure although this is the charm of San Pancho.

It’s hidden away but it really is a little oasis. Our room was superb, awesome roof terrace and pool. The coffee place is divine. Lovely service. I do hope to return again one day but can only recommend this place.

Incredible property. Everything is clean, elegant and well designed. Staff is professional and I will shout out to Netzy, Karen and Natalie. Housekeeping is immaculate. Very well placed away from the busy corners of San Pancho. The top roof has two hot tubs that you catch watch the beautiful sunset. Would have liked coffee pot in room. Internet worked very well and we were able to catch an Uber from the hotel to Airport.

Room tip: No elevator and deep concert steps. Plan accordingly if this is a challenge.

We had stayed here four times before. This trip was in January. But, this visit was just off... gruff front desk, security looking at us when we were trying to using the balcony tub, and just an overall unpleasant vibe this trip. Hopefully, they sort things out so that it's as nice as it used to be.

The most beautiful boutique hotel experience we’ve ever had. To start, the hotel architecture with old style breeze blocks is amazing. The pool is sleek with trees surrounding it and two rooftop spas with San Pancho views. The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom in the room is so cool. However, the best part of the experience is the people. Both Marcus and Catalina at the front desk are so relatable. I even asked Catalina about doing a yoga class for my family in the rooftop and she just happened to be a yogi master who gave us the class the next morning. The most wonderful hour that we spent in San Pancho during that class. San Pancho is so chill and this hotel fits perfectly. + they have a great coffee bar for locals and guest by the lobby.

Room tip: Very short distance walk to the main street in San Pancho and prepare to relax because wifi is kind of spotty in all of San Pancho

Let me start by saying I highly recommend this hotel. We are Starwood/Marriott folks and have stayed everything from St, Regis to “W” to Westins (obviously prefer St Regis), so we have lots to compare this to. Granted, it’s not a luxury property, but thought it was great. The location is perfect. A two minute walk into town and 5 minutes to the beach. We stayed in Luxury King Suite, Las Palmeras, for about $150/night. Room was spacious and clean, with a nice view of the pool and a little balcony. The hotel itself is eco-chic with a roof deck with two large jacuzzis and a spaces to sit and hangout or work. The doors on the rooms are magnificent. Seems like a weird thing to notice, but they are remarkable. Only complaints are the internet which stinks (I mean really stinks) and the they are a bit stingy with towels and bottled water and the like. We front desk staffer was a bit snarky too, but overall I would stay here again and highly recommend. Go to Cielo Rojo for breakfast. Right next door. They have a beautiful little courtyard and the food is great.

Room tip: If you need WiFi to function, this is not the place for you.

Room tip: Free parking. For a relaxing trip and not a party scene!
