Great location on a beautiful wide sandy beach and near shopping, restaurants and amenities. The hotel is fairly clean but needs some things. The rooms are sparse. In the bedroom a bed and 2 night tables and a closet with a few hangers. No where to put your clothes or dry things. No safe but apparently on order. Not enough towels. Great balcony only no chairs. In the living room, a dresser, TV and sofa and one chair. The kitchenette needs paper towels and a toaster or toaster oven. More soap in the bathroom. These things are not huge but get on my nerves esp. when paying $300 per night. The beach is nice, but get there early to make sure you get a lounger and umbrella. Like the rest of the beach resorts I have stayed in there never seems to be enough. Not sure why. The staff are friendly and attentive. Parking is valet only. Call ahead to have them get the car otherwise you wait. The place has potential and I would recommend it but these issues are annoying.

Room Tip: The cheaper city view rooms on the corners are great with a view of the inland waterway and beach but a little noisy from the street traffic

I stayed here in March 2011 and was a little disappointed with my stay. The room didn't have a refrigerator and it had poor lighting. The hotel didn't even provide seating for the balcony and I didn't have a chair in the room to move it there. The walls seemed a little thin. Our neighbor was really noisy. I'm not sure what he was doing, but I know he loved watching tv. Everything else in the room was just fine, but it wasn't something to brag about. The pool was ridiculous, it was only 3 or 4 feet deep. I would look outside of my window and wish I was in the hotel next door. They had a real pool and a hot tub and everyone seemed so happy! The food wasn't made in the hotel, they ordered it from the restaurant across the street. Seems silly to pay for the extra fees when I can just walk across the street. I didn't have a problem with the valet, but I felt like the entry/exit way was a bit tight. They need more mirrors or they need to redo the entrance. Overall, it was just an average stay. I expected a bit more with the amount of money I spent. If you can manage it, pay some more and stay at the Trump. They have a refrigerator!

Arrived after a fabulous weeks cruise on the Oasis of the Seas, expectations were high. check in not til 3pm but very pleasant porter stored our cases for us. Guest relations, young chap, advised us on best shopping areas and what bus to get and from where, even offered to take me to the bus stop. Went away quite happily.
room- view was amazing, room a good size, in desperate need of a good clean, sand and dust everywhere, carpet dirty. no safe, no waste paper bin, no hairdryer, no toilet roll holder. coffee making facility only included one cup, had mine then husband had to wash it out for his! Beds were clean, woke up early with the noise from room next door, ?honeymooners!
Plenty of clean towels, shower was fixed but plenty hot water.
enjoyed the location, lovely beach, easy access to where we wanted to go by bus, diners and restaurants within walking distance.

Wanted 2 hours to get a room (until 5:00PM) 13'x16 room -no chair for computer work -not even one on the balcony -room was hot. - coffee maker not working - only decaf coffee left out -business center computer does not have a printer - therefore you want in line again for the front desk to print your boarding pass - received a coupon for free glass of wine - only 2 customers in the bar but still took forever to get a drink - THERE IS NO LEVEL OF SERVICE HERE

Room Tip: Don.'t stay here

Dear valued guest, we are terrible sorry that your expectations were not fulfilled as we would have like it to. We have a great team of staff members that are willing to assist you at anytime you required to. All the information that pertain the Sole is specified in our website; such as: dimensions of the rooms and amenities offered, to mention some. As we are committed to offer you the best quality possible, and we understand that bedding is very important in our guests relaxation, all rooms are equipped with king size beds with pillow top mattresses. This might have taken some extra space in your room, but this was a decision made consciously, to ensure our guests had a very relaxing experience. Other amenities that we offer are: Keurig coffee maker ( with complementary refills of coffee and tea at your request), Fiji water, rain head shower, sauna and steam room with a fully equipped gym, and many other amenities available upon request to the guests relations desk. We appreciate your feedback and will be happy to welcome you back.

I had a great time there. The inside is like new compared to the other hotels on that beach which seem really run down. It was the perfect environment to relax and have fun at the same time. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I had a city view suite and the view was pretty killer. There were a couple of things that I think could have been done better but nothing major.
