The shuttle was fast and efficient, almost no waiting. 15 minute drive in traffic.

There check in staff were helpful and quick.

The rooms were much larger than I'm used to with Holiday Inn (which is great!) and the beds were wonderfully comfortable.

Only downsides: No free internet, and the walls are thin [with neighbors going for pre-dawn flights].

I will stay again.

A nice, clean, quiet hotel, but the entire property could use a refurbishing. This the best hotel in the area that i could find and is great for meetings with Qantas, DHL, etc. Also close to the train line to get to downtown Sydney in 10 to 15 minutes.

Room Tip: high rooms are best, some restaurants nearby (golf and rowing club ).

Most everyone said the staff is friendly and they're right - stayed one night before a long trip back to the US - The place is kind of weird - Lobby is nice and new, the bar is good, the restaurant is expensive but simple - The rooms I'm told have been upgraded. The furniture and beds yes, but the middle console is something straight out of the 40's. Very strange. The hallway carpets and doors are from the 80's (?) so you never quite get a feeling of WHAT this place is. For a night, it was fine.

Dear Dancing_Boy

Delighted to hear that the many positive comments about our staff on tripadvisor met your expectations during your recent visit to the hotel.

We are continuously reviewing our product - I am delighted to confirm that we are replacing our bedroom products throughout this year and will get rid of those "40's" consoles. In the mean time, all our rooms are equipped with MP3/IPOD clock radio alarms to ensure that we meet all our guests' technology needs

The Park, Stay and Go Package at the Holiday Inn is a very good deal for a family. Our accommodation was clean and sparkling. Extra towels for the kids were delivered promptly by the housekeeping staff, who were all particularly friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was a delicious way to start the day and our parking for the week and transfers to the airport via shuttle bus were included in the price. We were very happy with our stay. On our return to Sydney we couldn't easily find the airport pick-up point for the shuttle bus back to the Hotel, so we took a taxi, which was only $8, as it is within walking distance of the airport.

Dear FarmFam4,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our very popular Park Stay and Go package. Having access to a car space is so handy when travelling - especially when travelling as a family.

Trust your holiday in Alice Springs was great too - it is a beautiful part of Australia

Looking forward to welcoming you back on your next Holiday

I stay here quite regularly for business.

It's a good hotel - rooms are comfortable (but quite dated), everything always works and comfortable beds.

Restaurant is average but the bar is always quite lively with good atmosphere and decent food.

Service is decent.

Only negatives:
1. Make sure you don't book a standard room - specify a room type - otherwise you get put in a room with 2 single beds (yes SINGLE!!!! Only hotel I know that has single beds!!!!) or a disabled room. The queen rooms are comfortable and best.
2. An airport hotel charging for airport transfers really annoys me - if it's a nice day the walk to domestic is about 20mins and will save you the bus fare.

As a good priority club I'll continue to stay here.

Room Tip: Queen room. Avoid the twin rooms they have 2 single beds!

Dear bnecpl

Thank you for your review - It is always nice to hear from our regulars and in particular a member of our Priority Club Rewards Program.

I am delighted to advise you that we upgraded our Twin rooms mid last year and now offer all of them with a Queen bed and a King Single bed. This ensures that all our guests have a great sleep in a great sized bed no matter what the room class they book. We also took the opportunity to upgrade all our king rooms at the same time last year.

Looking forward to welcoming you back soon
