This place is amazing for sunny day drinks, seafood lunches, chips with anything or a decent glass or jug of Pimms. It is kid friendly, sits right on the beach and by the Pier where you can get the ferry to the city or from the city if you are a tourist. It is right beside the park so plenty of shade and areas to pay for children. There is also the more widely spaced Gibson’s Beach next few steps along or around the headland of the heritage walk is Camp Cove, a stunning beach.
The hotel staff are so friendly but be sure to reserve a space because at weekends and public holidays it is absolutely rammed with people, it is so popular.

Always nice having lunch with great view. I must say the food is good and the price is ok for a premium location. .
However over $11.00 for a Corona ?????????

Using our Opal cards we took the ferry to Watsons Bay, and after walking around the Gap Park Reserve for an hour or so we returned to the Beach Club at Watsons Bay for lunch.

All the tables on the lower part of the bar/restaurant were taken but we were able to get a table up the steps close to the bar.

You have to order food at the bar, and I ordered 6 Oysters for 22 AUD. My husband wasn’t hungry so just ordered a beer, and was shocked to learn that a pint of Tooheys was 12.50 AUD. He kept muttering “More expensive than Norway”, but that didn’t stop him having a second pint !

My Oysters were good and I had a good time even if my husband was crying into his wallet !

Beautiful setting right on the beach. Took the sprain Cook water taxi over which was great. Had the burger which was a little over down but edible. The fries (chips) were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Decided to order the Prawns which were amazing with a nice aeoli sauce. They had Pimms cup on tap and you can get in a carafe which is more reasonable cost wise. Mixed drinks continue to be watered down and overpriced. Nice staff and would comeback.

Thank Barry F
