What a wonderful place to spend our anniversary!! Everything was great!! Just wish we could've stayed longer :(
Breakfast was very good at "The Country Porch" :) best bacon,egg, cheese biscuit ever! The chocolate chip cookies there are out of this world. The shops we visited- everyone was just super nice to us. It's just such a friendly place.

We will definitely be coming back to stay at "Cabin at the Pond."

This cabin was very peaceful. It has a private pond. The owner provided Hershey kisses and Sparkling Grape Juice. It just made our anniversary special. The bathtub is large. Bed was comfortable. The cabin has a washer and dryer in case you want to wash your clothes. The owner has provided movies and books for entertainment during the stay. It was just a lovely place.

What a beautiful, peaceful location. The cabin is as depicted near the water. What you don’t see... cows and calves in the field, dense trees, wood interior, fireplace, lots of homey touches that make you feel comfortably at home immediately.

We were not blessed to meet the owners, but did meet friendly locals at the Country Porch, the General Store, and another store whose name I forget. Watching sorghum being processed was a treat, too.

We really needed a break from the world. School was recently out, time to settle into summer. Just what we needed. We visit Muddy Pond a few times a year, but had never found an open date that fit our schedule to stay in the cabins. So very glad we did, we took our Granddaughter with us, she got to fish, walk down the lane to open the gate when we went in and out of our little abode. We watched movies and just relaxed. Everything was clean, well stocked linens, and kitchen. If you must be connected to the world via internet, tv, and phones this is not the place for you. We have Verizon service and seldom experience outage. I had limited phone service but no internet. It was fine with me, and if you needed service you could drive 6 or 10 miles and have the world back. Can't wait to go again.

Very nice place to stay. We enjoyed it. Peaceful and relaxing. Everything was wonderful from booking to leaving. Thanks for a great stay!!

Been coming back for years .. quiet, no internet .. knotty pine interior .. Jacuzzi .. washer/dryer .. full kitchen .. front porch .. Weber grill .. romantic .. quiet .. did I mention quiet? :D Mennonite community .. sorghum bread .. leather shop .. PERFECT!
