My husband and I had an enjoyable overnight stay in a city view cottage. Easy check in process, with an inviting gas fire awaiting our arrival. Comfortable bed ensured a good nights sleep, and we enjoyed the spa on the upper level. It was the little details that made our stay pleasant.
Only feedback would be the water temperature in the shower was very inconsistent and kept changing from hot to cold, and better quality towels etc would be appreciated. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The garden cottage is surely not 'luxury', instead it is old, tired and in need of repairs!
The only good aspects were an excellent continental breakfast and a very comfortable bed, everything else was disappointing. A good tradesman is required for a couple of days to repair the numerous 'defects' such as the several holes in timber panels, broken light switch (currently 'repaired' with tape), missing pelmet-and bare timber-in the en-suite, several areas of missing paint on skirtings, above blind, etc. The sound on the small TV is defective who wants to wash their dishes in the en-suite beside the toilet? We won't be back!

Room Tip: Don't chose the garden cottage!

Cute & Romantic cottage with lovely decor ... minimalist, but with all the essentials (comfy bed, nice hot shower, heating/cooling, electric throw rug, tea/coffee, milk). Pleasant surprise to arrive on a cold day to find the heated room with Romantic CD playing
The outside decking with gas heater looks to the adjacent national park ... the morning view was tranquil as the mist hovered among the tall mountain ash gums.
What a bargain price with the supplied breakfast, which was plenty to fill and for morning tea also!

Room Tip: Garden Cottage is cosy, the City View & Penthouse cottages look to be at least twice the size! All have private entrances & similar decor

We stayed for 3 nights in June at Annie Roe's Penthouse Suite. It is a very comfortable apartment, which had a big kitchenette, and a very nice bedroom. The bathroom was spacious with a large double spa bath and a separate shower. The bathroom had an extractor fan but no heating, which I found unusual for a colder area. Breakfast provisions were provided in a lovely basket and were extremely generous.
My only negatives about Annie Roe's were the maintenance issues. The Penthouse obviously had been updated but it needed to be repainted and holes filled in where doors had been replaced or removed, curtain rods replaced etc. Also there were no instructions for the split heating system and we found the central heating at night to be too hot. Having no electric blankets was a surprise even though extra blankets were supplied. One of the more important issues was that doors did not close properly, the bath room door did not close and the bi fold doors at the top of the stairs didn't shut at all.
The views at night over the city were gorgeous and we were lucky to have clear nights. The free wifi was also very good. Overall we had a delightful stay. Thank you.

We were fortunate to stay at Annie Roe's Penthouse Suite and were very impressed with the quality of the accommodation. On arrival we were welcomed with ambient music, warm lounge room and generous breakfast hamper. The suite was very spacious with large bedroom, kitchen, spa bathroom and lounge area. We would love to stay again next time we have the pleasure of staying in the picturesque village of Olinda.

Room Tip: Penthouse Suite
