Return visit to the Rosebud RSL as they have provided many a great meal over the years and Sunday was no exception. 6 adults and 4 children in our group (including a celiac) meant we had a good variety and everyone liked the meals.
They were particularly knowledgeable about my celiac son and his Gluten after requirements which is always a relief.
Pokies, war relics (mueseum), children’s playground and large outdoor grasses area makes it great for everyone.

To be brief, it is a good venue, plenty of parking, all the bells and whistles of a comfortable club HOWEVER.... I went there 2 weeks ago on a wednesday night and found the perfect lasagne, and ordered the same on a Saturday night (last night) and what I got was a barely edible stodge of sweet tomato sauce and non textured cheese, I hoffed it down thing of the disappointing decline in quality. High Priced drinks for an RSL..... If the Management reads this, please remember, you are in Rosebud not Chapel Street.

If you do not have children do not go to the RSL on a Saturday night, if you do they will be entertained. Great for kids, dancing, balloo
n animals, kids can run around and your with like wise parents so no one to disturb.
Meals OK nothing flash but tasty enough.

Caught up with friends annual catch up. Great catch up with friends. Meals all great, I had carbonara fettuccini seniors which was lovely, then followed by a cheesecake dessert which was also great, everyone else said their meals were good. Would definitely go back again.

This RSL has been around for so many decades, since I was a child. My father played pool here in the 70’s and was a well known pool player for beating national champion Eddie Charlton back in the day. It’s a nostalgic return, and it hasn’t changed much. Bistro style dinners in an open living room, the pokies at your fingertips and a new and improved bar/outdoor pool table in a modern setting. The menu itself is both traditional and eclectic; the head chef is well versed in both modern pub fare, traditional dishes and a few new curve balls, like Indian curries that beer away from Aussie grub. It’s a very family oriented venue, a great area for kids to play, friendly staff and the real bonus - a courtesy shuttle that cruises around the area doing pick ups and drop offs, free of charge. Shouldn’t all pubs have such a service I wonder?
