“BnB Plus in Trawool”
Reviewed March 23, 2018 for a stay in March 2018

In town from Townsville QLD for three nights for a friend's wedding, Clyde's was a hidden gem. We were greeted with a smile from owner David and shown to our own Cottage away from the rest of the property's occupants.

Fully self contained and clean, not only were we treated to a welcoming plate of chocolates and fruit cake, but there was bacon, eggs, premade ham and cheese croissants, fruit loaf, jams, cereals, milk, juice, coffee and tea waiting for us in the kitchen, along with a carafe of port in the lounge room.

Coming from an accommodation and hospitality business, I have to say I was very impressed with Clyde's, and David's hospitality. I can not fault our stay, the fact we were left to our own device and also the extra touches for the cost, Clyde Cottage BnB is definitely good value for money.

Well done and I can definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay here. Great for families or just a getaway for a couple or a pair of couples.

“Where we get away for the weekend”
Reviewed August 9, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This is where we get away when we need a break from the city. About 1 1/2 hours from Melbourne on a Friday night ( shorter if your in the eastern suburbs ) this place is terrific, peaceful , a good place to just sit by the fire with a book, but there are great walks , bike riding on the rail trail, fishing and wide range of eating in both Yea and Seymour ranging from fine dining to great pub food& wineries ( ask the owners for a run down). Breakfast is cook yourself from a generous basket so you can get up when you feel like it.

“Great cottage, fantastic hosts”
Reviewed May 21, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The cottage was immaculately presented, has a fantastic garden (with lots of fruit trees), and David and Judith are friendly hosts: David took the time to show our 4 year-old son around his Dingo digger and Judith provided a seemingly never-ending supply of tasty home-cooked + home-baked food!
The old record player, complete with a selection of old records, was a nice touch - although I was the only one in our family old enough to remember how to use it!
The weather was cold, so we loved the wood fire and electric blankets. It was too cold for us to venture into the swimming pool, but we can't wait to visit again during summertime as it looks great!
There are lots of things to do: the Great Victorian Rail Trail is at the front of the property (watch out: when you enter the driveway you cross over it), the Goulburn River is a short walk from the back of the cottage, the Schoolhouse Gallery Cafe is only 5 minutes walk, Kerrisdale Mountain Railway is only 5 minutes drive and Seymour is 10 minutes drive.
