Enjoyed the first half of the show immensely. It included the country, gospel , & two hymns portion of the show. These were fantastic.

Slim Chance was also very good.

The second half of the show moved to broadway musicals. That didn’t really appeal to us.

The salute to military was also first rate.

Show is worth seeing.

A fun evening for the family with great diverse music suiting all tastes. The Lion King and Johnny Cash were our music highlights with the comedian juggler Slim Chance a hoot.

With so much competition for the top spot in PF/Sevierville/Gatlinburg one would expect that a venue would have to be extraordinary to attain this lofty position, and the Smoky Mountain Opry delivers!

Every phase of the operation is first class, from the scheduling to the seating and , of course, the entertainers.

Our group has visited in two year intervals and not once have we seen a duplicate show. In truth, we wouldn't mind seeing a repeat, but this organization finds ways to refresh without losing any credibility. The singers are incredible and the dancers are spot on. Throw in the amazing Pat Butrum-voiced comedian/juggler extraordinaire Slim Chance and gravity-defying aerialists and you have the makings of a world class performance.

This year, they cleverly and adroitly covered years of musical greatness by featuring homages to great singers from several genres. Also, a personal touch was appreciated as some of the performers revealed their hometowns and musical upbringings to bring the audience a little closer to them.

I don't know what's up with the popcorn I bought at intermission, but it ,too deserves a special commendation! There was not one clunker in the whole show, led by one of the talented Smith family from the ever popular Smith morning show of yore.

Keep up the great work, folks. You've a good thing going on there. It was a privilege to enjoy your masterful performances, especially your love of God and country!

.

The show provided an incredible variety of music and entertainment. From country to rock, pop, gospel, patriotic, and everything in between. Prince, Adele, Johnny Cash, and a host of other artists songs were performed. There was dancing, acrobatic expressionistic dancing choreographed to the music, a little magic, juggling and comedy thrown in. There really was very little this talented troupe didn’t touch on. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

A lot of work is put into this show. The choreography, the choice of music, the talented performers, the costumes...all play a part in making this a not to miss attraction. You can't imagine the energy put forth by these talented performers and the show itself lasts beyond 2 hours. Well worth the cost of your ticket. Great entertainment suited for any family.
