This was about an hour tour. Just enough time to be down in the dark cavern. The guide was pretty knowledgeable about the caverns and TN in general. I did learn a lot on this tour. I would recommend it.

It was only $16 each, so we decided to stop by here, instead of going to Foxfire to walk the swinging bridge which was $20.
My wife and I enjoyed the tour, some of which was geared toward younger family members(but the guide seemed very genuine -so we endured it.)
It was 1 hour and had a lot of steps, but wasn't equivalent to a hike.
The views were cool, even if inevitably someone would always have there phone on when it was time to go pitch-black.
The gift shop was simple but inexpensive, so bought some things. If you have a few hours to kill - check it out. It's only about 20 minutes from Dollywood.

Great cavers in the Smokey Mountains. The tour guide was very instructive about the history of the caverns and use by the Cherokee Indians early on in native history as well as it use by moon shiners as the area was settled by the Europeans.

Nice drive, away from the hustle & bustle of the crowds. Cost is $16. They say the temperature is 58, but it didn't feel that cold. The tour is 1/2-mile of walking, in a little over an hour. Parts of the commentary were cheesy. There were lots of puddles to avoid, in the middle of the pathway. There were 9 steps up and 50 steps down. All wet and uneven. The cave was a beauty, with water running through it in places. Not as much variety of formations as other caves, but worth a trip.
