Took my entire family to Wilderness at the Smokies Resort, a day after Christmas. We drove from San Antonio and did not get to Sevierville until 2:00am. The lady working the front desk had a great personality, very helpful. We got to the room quickly, which required quite a walk. Entering the room, I immediately killed three of what looked like small roaches...okay....
Flat exhausted, we searched the room quickly for other insects, then sacked out for the night. I called the desk the next morning and they sent up to service men to install some roach bait. They addressed the problem very quickly and noted that a few rooms in our area (near the end of the far side of a huge complex) had reported similar activity. Over the next three days we hit the water park, hung out in the lobby bar and generally had a great time! The kids loved the novelty of an indoor waterpark, near the Smokey Mountains, in December no less. In summation, a packed, buzzing, large resort with water parks a plenty. Fun for families with kids; though a little outdated and in need of refurbishing.More
