Sol de Jalisco is standard strip mall Tex-Mex but one visit was probably enough for us. The menus is ample but you're not quite sure who's running the show, at least in the evening. There were about four other tables occupied around 7:00 P.M. and a few teen-aged girls who would occasionally appear and disappear into the back. The service is friendly and quick and the food is predictable....except maybe the queso flameado. This recipe usually has a ramekin with melted white cheese in it topped by chorizo in the center. Ours came as a large plate of chorizo with some cheddar cheese sprinkled on top. I have never seen that before! Anyway if you're in the area, it will do if you need a Tex-Mex fix, but you can find better places within a short distance.
