If you need anything just ask, employees are friendly, courteous and helpful. not Perfect, but they genuinely want to make your stay special!

It's irritating when people whine about waiting for an elevator, or a crying baby, etc. GET A LIFE PEOPLE!!!! Everything that the employees of Hilton College Station can control is impeccable!

As locals, we have enjoyed the weekend SPA package that includes a separate room with large whirlpool hot tub & views, Friday buffet, champagne, exotic swimming pool, et al. Not all of these rooms are functional, so it's best to tour which are before making a deposit/reservation ... as they will not return your calls/emails concerning details on these rooms.
Last weekend, we attended a function in their main "ballroom" that had excellent entertainment and security for auction items. The dinner was excellent, even though pricey when suggested to be ~$60 "cost" of the $125/plate fundraiser.
Service: dinner to the rear tables took so long, diners were using their ONE knife to begin with the rolls that finally came, using their coffee plates as the only item provided; when dinner finally arrived, some had their plates removed w/o permission, while others remained for another hour; if you were dancing, no coffee nor desert for you when you returned to your table - at least tea/water was provided early on.
Bar: these were placed in convenient locations, but you might be disappointed in your "mint julep" when comparing it traditional images on the Internet/past experiences; it was good, but pretty much a mashed mint, mixer & slug of bourbon in a short glass.
Dance floor: one can hurt themselves on such a sticky parquet rent-a-floor, whose perimeter squares kept coming apart, providing a large seam into which one's heel would catch, providing even more potential physical hazard that became more intense as this tiny (7x17 steps) floor filled with dancers that had been drinking.
I'm thinking a conference event plannner might want to do a bit more research before making a commitment here.

I was very impressed with the level of service and the cleanliness of the guest room, lobby and restaurant. I truly had a great stay and I would recommend this property to any business or vacationing traveler.

The check in desk staff were friendly and quick, my room was clean as I would expect and the bed was very comfortable. The last time I was here they didn't have the LCD TV that they had this past time, which it was nice to see them upgrade to!

The parking and Internet (very easy to use compared to some and it was rather fast) were complimentary which was nice as well as this hotel is located right on University Dr across from several restaurants.

This is a large, full-service hotel and probably the best place to stay in College Station. We paid $74, including taxes and fees, via Priceline, which was an excellent value. The Hilton is a fine place to stay overall and is very well located near Texas A&M and many good places to dine. The front desk staff was friendly and most helpful. They initially put our Visa card on another person's account, and when we called it to their attention, they corrected the error promptly and gave us two vouchers for an excellent hot breakfast buffet (including fresh fruit and made-to-order omelets). The room had a slightly unpleasant odor when we first walked in but our noses adjusted to it quickly and the room seemed clean. The bath was quite small but attractive. The doors do not keep out hall noise at all well, but we were in a quiet wing (the Cabana wing---but ask for a room not facing the pool if quiet trumps view for you), and the comfortable bed and true blackout curtains promoted restful sleep on a weekend morning --until the housekeeping staff decided we should be up at 8:00 on a Sunday morning and went down the hall rapping loudly on doors. Overall, this was a pleasant place to stay and run by very nice people. We appreciated the free parking and free high speed internet, as large hotels often charge for those.

This hotel was fine! Located about 1.5 miles from TAMU, there was a free shuttle and the walk to campus was just fine. The conference I attended included b-fast and 1 dinner, both were quality. It was too cold to swim, but the hot tub looked appealing as did the workout room. There was a business center but I didn't use it. The bar served us well, both to uncork a secret bottle (which we took back to our room) and to serve us some beverages in the bar. There was a free shuttle to the airport and complimentary USA Today newspapers at your door each morning.
