Owner description: We are THE MOST FUN YOU CAN HAVE IN A DALLAS THEATER and have been since 1980. Well known for our popcorn tossing melodramas, with comedies, music, and improv comedy at great prices.

Really enjoyed this place. Food is so-so but you go there for the atmosphere and the farce. It was so much fun throwing popcorn at the actors and booing and hissing at the villain. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to go back next time we're in Dallas. This is a must do for every traveler.

We recently went to see Ebenezer Scrooge. The cast was fantastic. Even with a familiar story, they were still able to "draw us in", with emotional dialogue and good acting.
This made for a really nice memory-making outing for our family. We highly recommend this show!

I planned an evening event following Thanksgiving Day (Black Friday) for my family to avoid the sometimes anticlimax of the actual Thanksgiving Day events. Expectations for these winter holidays are so unrealistically high that a sense of "let down" often follows them no matter how good the actual experience of the holiday is for each individual. I stumbled onto this community-neighborhood theater by accident. Since we have been enjoying our recent sampling of community theaters, I thought we might as well give it a try, especially @ $20 bucks per ticket! The venue of these theaters is usually in a smaller setting, less lavish than the usual "Broadway" image, & utilizing amateur or quasi-professional actors & actresses, many of whom are quiet impressive. We were fortunate to see the recent production of Ebenezer Scrooge, a musical spin-off of the classic Christmas Carol. It was a fun, & entertaining performance by acting-singing staff who took their roles seriously & gave their best efforts to make the show a success. The food @ this dinner theater is absolutely delicious: well-prepared, properly seasoned, quality ingredients, & good presentation. Recommend the Reuben sandwich with salad, or grilled cheese with special cheese combinations. Menu simple & direct. Arrive early for good seating & to place order before show-time. Parking lot proximate to theater entrance with plenty of space. You will enjoy the experience!

Up until last night, I had not been to the Pocket Sandwich in a few years, because I was overseas. We used to go all the time, and it was a blast.

Death, the Musical 2, which was showing last night was pretty darn good. The food was good for what it was.

Great place to take your family, depending on what's showing.

However, the booth we were sitting in was so uncomfortable. It was hard, and just impossible to sit one way for more than a few minutes. Don't remember it being that hard. Hopefully it was just that one booth.
