Clean, efficient check-inn and check-out, typical Hampton breakfast but well presented and refreshed frequently, good sleep quality and quiet. Limited entry and exit access from US287. Can access Hotel only from the southbound exit. If arriving northbound, must pass the Hotel, take the second exit past the Hotel and make a U-turn. Fast Food restaurants and a Starbucks are within walking distance of the Hotel.

Room Tip: Back rooms are not facing US 287 and are very quiet

We unexpectedly had the opportunity to attend two college visit days with our son.We logged 900 miles in a little over four days. This Hampton Inn was the first and best of three hotels in three cities in 3 nights. All three we stayed in were different chains, same class hotel and within $2 of each other in price. The ladies (I'm so sorry I didn't get their names) at the front desk worked with me on the phone,the night before we got there trying to help me plan the quickest route to our next destination. We arrived at the Hampton at 10:00 after traveling since 4:00 that afternoon. This hotel is conveniently off of highway 287. Almost too close, you are literally in their parking lot as soon as you exit the highway. This is a very nice hotel for the price range. The same ladies who I had talked to on the phone the night before were at the front desk. My husband checked us in. They must have remembered our phone conversation from the night before, because they greeted my husband with cold water bottles and said, "you have to be tired from such a long fast trip. Have something to drink." Each attendant was helpful, friendly and courteous throughout our short stay. The decor was modern and nice, the lobby and our room spotlessly clean. Could not hear the highway noise from our room. The bed was extremely comfortable, the linens crisp and very clean. Had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was was clean and modern and the shower good, though the water pressure could have been a little bit higher. They use Neutragena toiletries, which are high quality and great for those with allergy and skin sensitivities. We checked out the breakfast the next morning. The area was clean and stocked, but they didn't have any breakfast meat except for crumbled sausage in gravy. We opted to go elsewhere, but the free breakfast looked okay. My only regret here is that our stay was so short. We usually don't stay in Hampton's because I feel they are a little pricey for what you get. This one was a great value and exactly what we needed while passing through.

Great place to stay, it was very clean and hotel was overall nice. The pool and hot tub were nice and the breakfast was alright. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this to others. A rating.

Hotel Staff was very professional and courteous ... Rooms were very clean and up to date .... it was an overall pleasant stay at this particular hotel... if I was going to be back in this area on business again I would most likely may plans to stay at this facility ... easy in and out access to the interstate and local eateries and stores

Hotel had easy access from highway. However, there is only one entry and exit point, and when you travel back onto the highway, it is a one way direction. You have to loop back (two u-turns) to gain entry again. Otherwise, room was emmaculate, had a view (of Decatur TX that is), close to a lot of businesses, eating places, walmart, well placed. Would stay again.

I received a call in the morning prior to our arrival to confirm everything. Throughout our stay the staff was great. The room was very nice, great bed, very clean, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and the area spotless.

This hotel is very clean and extremely quiet! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only negative I could report on, and it was not bad, but the breakfast options were limited. But it was free so I guess it was good for the price. The waffle was the best, but the meat was not tasty.
I would highly recommend this hotel though it was better than most Hampton Inns.

Room Tip: The hotel was very quiet but room 218 was great.
