This is an outstanding property. The staff was outstanding. Our night clerk was very accomodating and Patrick, the General Manager, was awesome. The breakfast was outstanding and the service person was more than accomodating. This is a new property and it is well cared for. This ought to be the place that Holiday Inns brings their new managers to learn how to run a hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone. My gradson used the hot tub and pool and thought it was exxellent. It is near lots of chain fast food places.

Our stay here was fabulous, the staff is extremely charming and ready to accomodate your every need. Their breakfast is wonderful, a different entree' each day! The heated indoor pool/spa, even better- I believe its the only hotel in town with an indoor pool.......
The kiddos and I really enjoyed ourselves. We'll definitely be back....

We arrived at the Holiday Inn at 5:00pm and purchased a room with 2 queen beds for $119. We thought that was a little high for this area, but agreed to the price because Holiday Inn has delivered a consistently good experience. However, after getting into our room, we decided to look at other hotels around the area and found that the Fairfield Inn is $20 less, as well as Hampton Inn. Then we looked on the internet to see how much they were advertising rooms for at THIS hotel. We found the price to be $99. We called customer service to find out why our hotel room cost was $20 more than what is advertised and were told that it was because we didn't have a reservation. We could have sat in the lobby, got on the computer, and made a reservation for $99 at 7:00pm and saved $20, versus walking in at 5:00pm. URGH!!!

Also, the pool is opaque, gross, and nasty. The hot tub has floaties in it. There is hair on the bathroom floor. We will not be staying at this Holiday Inn ever again, nor any other Holiday Inn.

came here on a very busy day and stayed for 3 nights with my clients, the staf overachieved my expectations with their great customer service. even there general manager was more than welcoming. i really enjoyed thier bigger usual rooms, breakfast was great, and i didnt know that this was the only property in ennis with an indoor pool and jaccuzzi. i stayed on a weekday and i really liked that on every tue and thu they had manager reception where they offered free wine and beer including a filling free meal. i would definately recommend this hotel for anyone to stay in.
