The hotel itself was good. I don't really have many complaints. I stayed in the Jacuzzi room and it was nice. Very relaxing but when you turn it on it was very noisy. Don't know how well that went with our neighbors. The breakfast area was ok as well. I was expecting a bit more since it is a MARRIOT hotel. But for the price I shouldn't complain. I will be returning for the price!

My son and I stayed one night on our college tour of the DFW area. I booked the stay because the price was extremely low that I couldn't pass it up. All in all, the hotel is just fine for short stays. I wouldn't recommend for longer stays unless you are on a budget and want to stay at a mid level hotel rather than a motel. Check in was a breeze as I had checked in online ahead of time, the room was adequate, but small. Beds were so, so... Since we were only staying one night, it was fine. My biggest gripe is the air conditioner was so loud when it would kick on and it would rattle until it got "warmed" up... then it would cycle off and come back on again later. If this had been a lot more quiet, I would have given this review a higher ranking. I told the front desk when I checked out and they said they would have maintenance check it. She did apologize for the issue, though. Breakfast was pretty decent. I was surprised at the offerings. My son and I ate fairly well. The only problem with this, is the breakfast area is quite small. So, if they have a packed house and everyone decides to visit at the same time, it will be a problem. The hotel is located off 820 near I-35. It's pretty easy to get to from the frontage road or from behind on Sandshell Dr. I would recommend only getting on I-35 if necessary while the construction is going on... It is really bad now. There is a lot of available parking from what I could tell. Would I stay here again... yes, for a short term, and if the A/C was working properly and quiet.

We stayed here for two nights during Presidents Day weekend. Check in was fast and friendly but unfortunately that's the only positive I have for this hotel.

First, our bathroom had water damage on the ceiling. Second, the breakfast area is cramped and hard to navigate during rush hour. Finally, the freeway noise is pretty intense and road construction makes the area difficult to navigate.

I can't recommend this hotel.

Full disclosure-I am a Marriott premium member.

Our stay in the Forth Worth Fairfield Inn at Fossil Creek was excellent. Rooms were clean and neat, everything worked and the "Marriott Bed" was a welcome sight on this trip. The staff were very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the area and able to direct us to places to go nearby. There are a couple of fast-food type restaurants within near walking distance (less than 1/2 mile).

The room was clean, neat and well-kept. While the place may need some "updating" in the sense of the color-clashing carpet in the halls, everything in the room worked. There was plenty of electricity near the desk and beds to get everything charged. The Premium Internet was fast and reliable throughout the stay.

The wall-controlled HVAC was quiet and kept the room comfortable during the two mild days that we were there.

Construction in the area made it difficult to get there from the Dallas side of the metroplex. If you're using Uber, make sure you inform the driver that he or she may need to take a different exit than his GPS is telling him/her to take or they will find themselves driving about 15 minutes turning around to get to the hotel off the 820.

Without fail, the staff at this Marriott property is top notch.

I was in the area for business, and I was in a hurry when I checked in. My husband took our clothing to the room and discovered that clearly the previous guest had smoked in it. We let the desk clerk know, and she was very gracious about it. She provided us with a new room and upgraded us for free for the inconvenience. This is as it should be, but these days it has become a rarity. Good Job!!!
