Having spent a lot of time visiting Downtown Houston for work, It used to be dead past 8pm. I am glad places like the flying saucer opened, where after a long day of working, you can head over and grab a beer and good food without paying the high prices at the hotel restaurant.

I go to the location in Austin and have never been disappointed. Because of that we decided to try out the Houston location. Great decision and great beer choices. Server was Sarah and she was very friendly and helpful. Great visit!

We looked up the top ten places for lunch and a good beer and we are so happy we found this place. It is unique and in the heart of downtown. There are TONS of beer selections and the food was amazing. We liked it so much we went back the next day! Wish we lived closer!

This is a MUST-TRY!

I think we were there for the wrong reason. We took our family there because it was close to the hotel we were staying in. It appears to be a great place to drink and socialize. The food we had which was the bratzel, the prosciutto and arugula pizza and the pretzels were just typical bar food. Not great, not bad. The service was okay and our waitperson was friendly. We did have excitement when a fight broke out just outside by two patrons who had been inside. Great for the kids to see. Anyways, I think it would be a good place for co-workers or to bring a date.

Stopped in last trip to Houston and loved it. Server was awesome, gave us several tips on beers to try and all were delicious. Food was very good as well. We came back the next night as well and enjoyed it just as much. We were disappointed we didn't discover it till our 3rd night of the 4 night visit or most likely would have went all 4 days as it was only about a 5 minute walk from our hotel.
