The cuisine is a wonderful experience! We had the "Tour" which I highly recommend but come extremely hungry because it's a lot of food!! Lamb, Beef, Sea Bass, Scallops, Calamari, and my favorite...stuffed prawns!!! Dane was an excellent waiter!! He made great recommendations and made sure we understood the amount of food that was coming. Also, he closed the doors on our section, once we were the last table, to provide privacy and the perfect moment my boyfriend was looking for in order to propose. Dane and his manager came by and congratulated us and made our moment so very special. We will be making Peli Peli a part of our important celebrations in our future together.

Peli Peli is a regular on my list. The menu is versatile and delicious. Above average wine list and great service. And if you're lucky, owner Paul might be in house and give you the story behind his concept. Terrific place...we love it!

The food, the atmosphere, the service - all exquisite! As aSouth African myself, I was pleasantly surprised by the stunning food on offer here. It's a great mix of South African cuisine with an American twist. Try the bobotie, chicken sosaties, biltong, stuffed peppadews & mushrooms as appetizers and flavours of South Africa, espatada almoco and the cape town skillet as main courses, then wrap it up with a sticky toffee pudding. All stunning! I have visited both the original location in Vintage Park and the Galleria location. Both are fantastic, the former having the tall wooden light-up hint at the Acacia Tree (best to visit in the evening for a better atmosphere and display) and the latter with stunning Acacia dining room where they have the leaf-cutout roof with a light display behind it, said to indicate the rising African sun through the leaves of the Acacia tree in the morning and the moonlight at night. Great to visit all times of the day. Very aesthetically pleasing. Galleria also has the stunning bar area with a beautiful light display from the inside-lit bartop-bottom to the dancing roof light display. Vintage park's bar area is somewhat smaller. Galleria definitely wins with its bar area. There are screens for sports game viewing. Cape Town dining room in Galleria location is perfect for larger parties and more intimate dining, while Vintage park offers private dining rooms altogether. Great place to visit, servers have great insight on dishes, wonderful stories to tell and knowledge galore. A must try!

This South African themed restaurant was one of the first establishments to pop up in the Vintage Market about 9 years ago. Their food is excellent and their night caps are fantastic. The seating is comfortable and they do not cram you in like some of the bigger chain restaurants. There is a square just outside the entrance with a fountain and some other establishments where you can grab a drink and sit and watch the live music (if there is any that night). I would encourage you to go out on a date night and try this place. Call ahead as the wait can stack up on Fridays and Weekends.

NOTE: You may run into a plethora of "Hipsters" that want to think they are cool by wearing beanies and or black rimmed glasses with no frames. You can easily spot them driving Prius's and or only requesting "organic unicorn farts". They tend make for a good show in that area.

Otherwise I would give 5 stars.
