I was craving seafood and this hit the spot. Delicious grilled branzino with a wild green salad. The fish had so much flavor. Excellent service and a brilliant pinot grigio.

The six of us each chose from the four price fixe Houston Restaurant Weeks Menu options and they were spectacular. Not a single plate was less than perfect. It's loud but so much fun, with excellent, informed service. Beautiful art, glass walls, comfortable seating, all in the Galleria area.

Living in the Houston area, we have a restaurant “list” of places to try. We’ve usually read about the restaurants in Texas Monthly and we add interesting ones to our “list”. This was one on our “list”.

First, the service was impeccable! We had to wait about an hour for a table, which allowed us to experience the bar. Omar greeted us immediately, even though it was quite busy. Janine made a suggestion for me and I loved it! We had a few drinks. It was fun to try a few new margaritas. Janine was very friendly and helpful. I asked her about the menu so we would know what we should order at our table. She was appropriately enthusiastic about the cuisine and described a few dishes in colorful detail. It was great!

Andres, the wine sommelier, was awesome and introduced us to a new port! I don’t usually care for ports but this one was amazing! Thank you Andres! He was friendly and engaging.

Gloria was our server. She was equally great. She was attentive and friendly. The table next to us was obnoxious/entitled. As she would take our order, they would interrupt. She politely kept her attention to us, while appropriately attending to them as soon as she could. They never seemed unhappy. She handled them professionally.

Finally, Angel was our water server. He was quiet but also very professional.
Service was amazing and exceptional.

Food was “okay”. Maybe we ordered wrong.?...The shrimp was extremely difficult to eat, as it had tail and head in shells. That is very difficult when dressed nicely. Most of it was left on the plate because my husband gave up. I had a fish wrapped in banana leaf. It was good but had a few bones. We did not order dessert, which is highly unusual for us because we were frustrated with the main courses.

Overall, we might give this place another try, solely based on the impeccable service. We will order differently next time, if we visit again.

We went to lunch to Caracol Mexican Coastal Kitchen. It didn't let us down. The service was excellent and the food had a lot of flavor. If you are in Houston and like seafood, you need to check it out.

Nicely located in the Galleria area, this upscale restaurant is a go-to for any business or fine dining occasion. Service is excellent. Food is delicious. Love the seafood tostada. And of course, the El Coco dessert is a must! I would need to try the brunch buffet some time. Heard a lot raves for it.
