Its a fantastic location for one for exploring the National park.
The lodge is a little out dated (almost 80's style) and for the money not great value for money in our view. if your a 'foodie' then self catering is the best option as the inclusive evening meal is very limited and served to a set time (wine is not included except for a glass pre dinner with canapés i.e. carrots with dip) with everything wrapped up by 9.30pm - as per a previous review it's a bit like a military operation.
Breakfast - you need to stock up before you arrive as the supplies provided are very limited. Breakfast up at the lodge is (we felt) almost discouraged - 'as they get very busy'More
