Fun & quick stop. We stopped by in the afternoon. The prairie dogs were out in force and quite entertaining.

Praire dogs can be meddlesome creatures to ranchers, farmers, and maintenance people. However, you have to appreciate their unique style s the band together to protect their young from natural predators birds, snakes and others. The hawks that have nests in the ground nearbye. They are cute to watch dig, communicate, and clean their cute faces. Definatly fun for the whole family (kids, adults, teens, and tweens) unless you don't like the out doors.

If you are not from the Texas area it might be something to see, one time. Then you could say you have seen it.

My sister and I saw this on a map and thought it sounded interesting. When we found it we were entranced. Loads of busy little prairie dogs all over and they just went about their business as if we were not there. Got some cute pictures. What a fun place.!

It is a small area where you can view the Prairie Dogs and if you are lucky some owls. I love to listen to the sound they make when people come around. They are very cute but don't try to catch or pet them. Worth a short visit.
