Restaurant located right next to our hotel. We were thinking on going there but after a hotel employee recommended it, the deal was sealed.
The restaurant is a big open area that kind of reminded me of a cafeteria. Some sections had better lighting than others. We were originally brought to a dimly lit area but after our request we were seated in a brighter part of the restaurant. Open kitchen at the far end. We were there around dinner and there weren't many tables occupied on a weekday evening.
As with many Mexican restaurants, Poncho's menu was extensive with all combinations of the traditional Mexican fare.
Food arrived quickly and was very enjoyable. Their taco shells are homemade and was the highlight of the meal with two of the diners. Being from New Hampshire, we wished there was a restaurant in our area with this type of traditional Mexican food.
The meal was so good that the following night we ordered food "to go". Same great taste and quality!
