Booked through Priceline and was a continual nightmare – DO NOT STAY HERE if you like clean rooms that you can get sleep in. The rooms are DIRTY - like biohazard dirty. Cigaret burn holes on the bed, sheets, blankets... Hanks (a live country music bar and grill about 150 feet away from rooms) blasting music till well after midnight - EVERY NIGHT! The owner apologized for the music, but you are not drowning out concert level speakers with bass that shakes the walls of your room. And would it kill you to replace or clean the sticky carpet? Or vacuum up toenail clippings and dead bugs?
Our Stay In Hell:
Room #1-106 card would not work, and the front desk clerk could not get it to open either (20 minutes of my life gone). Room #2 A couple doors down opened, but smelt like an ashtray - after 5 minutes and finding some disgusting bodily fluid stains on the headboard, phone, bed skirt, curtains, I head back to the front desk. Room #3 212 we head upstairs with luggage, it has cigaret burns in the sheets, furniture and carpet, but doesn't smell like old nicotine, so we give it a shot. We check in around 4 and head out to shop and dinner. When we came back that night we found the honkey tonk, Hank's, next door has live concerts nightly and has quite an impressive sound system. No problem if you like country and are partying, but if you want sleep... that's not happening. We leave early the next morning after a restless night for the day. When we come back, Hank's is going again AND there is a party in the hotel - a quinceañera - full band 200+ guests... I head to the front lobby to check out, can't take it anymore. He offers another room - no charge - please. Room #4 246 is on the other side of the complex, is larger but still dirty. We reluctantly agreed after he assured us the party would be over soon. He lied. The carpet was sticky, the tub was pealing, there was someone living a couple doors down with a parade of sketchy individuals "visiting" the room. After another sleepless night because the party in the lobby went till 1:30 am, we bailed. I get noise can be out of your control sometimes but this is a deceptive, sleazy motel if there every was one. Never again will we stay at a Quality Inn because of this experience.
