Tradional Greek seafood dishes, with some nice extras!

The Mezze - they bring an assortment to the table and you may choose from the platter, you know what you are getting!

Very nice small fish fried and crunchy - you can eat the whole thing!

Traditional simple tomato cucumber salad.

Surprise at the end! A small ice cream on a stick for dessert for everyone at the table.

We liked the disc with the different plates.
We ate very fresh sardines and prosfigakia with nice salads.
We disappointed from the french fries and the spicy cheesecream.
They must return to the tradiotional greek french fries.

Nice selection of seafood bites with real bites ouzo approach! This is not a high end seafood restaurant and it has a very Greek way of serving seafood! Small portions so as to taste everything and accompany your alcohol! Fresh ingredients and fast attentive service!

Psarou, on the main road from Athens to Sounion, is a well-deserved stop after an afternoon swim. The restaurant was full on what is the quietest weekend of the year, with everyone away for the holiday of August 15.

The staff is courteous and the service attentive. Appetizers come on a platter for diners to pick what they wish: the smokey eggplant salad and the buttery tarama salad are both highly recommended.

There is a plethora of choices for seafood, including mussels, baby calamari, baby shrimp, and the catch of the day. Everything is fresh and well prepared. There is no dish costing more than 10 Euro. House wine is excellent.

Complimentary ice cream is the perfect treat after such a delightful meal.
