We visited in the winter (february 2017) and had a seat inside, on the ground floor. There is another seating area upstairs for smokers, so the ground floor is nice and smoke free, but with limited space. The kitchen is on the ground floor, so there is a little bit of ambient noise from the exhaust fan.
The music is very nice, old greek folk music, very befitting the general style of the place. The decoration is very nice as well, you get a nice cozy feeling.
Service is very friendly and efficient, and the food quality is very good. We had various meze dishes, such as fava, grilled octopus, shrimps, steamed mussels in wine, cod-cakes, grilled seabass, grilled cheese with mushrooms, fried atherina fish, a large salad, boiled greens with a nice egg-lemon dressing all of which were excellent, tasty and nicely presented. Not fancy, but as they should in a taverna. Their freshly baked bread is particularly good!
We had ouzo and raki for drinks, and the bill was 20 euro/person (including tip) with the overall quantities being quite satisfying.
We noticed from the menu that this restaurant offers also various meat and poultry meze dishes, so it is not only a fish taverna. In summer it also has outdoor seating.
We had a good experience, and would visit again. Recomended, especially for families but make sure you book on the ground floor if you want a smoke-free lunch or dinner!
