Absolutely recommend the terrace because of its awesome views of the castle and the old town. Beautiful place and good food, enjoyable for either lunch, dinner, a drink or simply bed and breakfast. Also not very big so it benefits from a very friendly and cozy atmosphere!

Terrific find as we were walking around old town. Beautiful setting, delicious meal, presentation and attention to detail. Space is very welcoming and relaxing. Service provided by Ricardo and Oliver was impecable!
A must when visiting this lovely city.

We had the downstairs room (we were given the choice) and thankfully, found it very cool during an extremely hot period of 40 plus degrees, although there is, of course, air-conditioning. Breakfast was extra but very good value, (5 euros each) juice, jam, coffee, toast, scrambled eggs, ham and cheese. We had dinner one night in the courtyard with exceptional views. Chose the set menu at 15 euros, including a beer or glass of wine, Nice but limited menu. Friendly, helpful staff.

Room tip: Downstairs room is rather dark but cool in a hot summer.

Ricardo was very forthcoming. Gave us some good advice especially watching the sun set outside the fortress walls. Pros: Great location. Right next to the castle.
Free parking. Comfortable bed with clean sheets. Roomy bathroom with nice big white towels. Breakfast was great sitting out in the terrace. Cons: the room was a bit humid and damp. Not much direct sunlight in the downstairs rooms. My friend had to turn on heater to dry the room. They definitely have humidity problems in the ground floor rooms.

Room tip: Wouldn't recommend groundfloor rooms: humid, damp feeling.

Very nice place to have some food at lunch during the visit in Trujillo.
The restaurant is just near the street going to the castle and separate from the hotel. A new refurbished location very modern
Good food and perfect service for a good price. Definitely to come back
