Cozy little restaurant in Pitt meadows. recommend Grilled caeser salad or side by side pawn appy. And you MUST have the tarragon chicken with truffle risotto. Worth every calorie.

This bistro is doing everything right. Great food, interesting menu and reasonable prices. The location can be a bit challenging though. It is in Pitt Meadows just off of Harris road, next to the fire hall - hence the name of Firehall Bistro. So plug the name into Google Maps and get ready for a delicious dining experience. The wine list has some nice BC selections . We ordered a dry Riesling and it paired well with the mussels in a spicy tomato sauce. We also tried the mac and cheese. Everything was perfect. Don't be put off by their web site- it could use some work. Come for lunch and enjoy.

We knew we would be in Pitt Meadows for the afternoon and wanted to go out for an early dinner. We arrived at the restaurant without reservations, but we were early enough that there was a sitting available. Our server was excellent. He was always there when we needed him and was very knowledgeable about the food. His description of the menu items was so good that we had to take some time to determine which of the items we would order. They all sounded great!

We chose to share an order of mussels as an appetizer and we ended up ordering a basket of bread to soak up the leftover sauce. It was so good. For our main courses, my wife had the chef's special, coq de vin, and I had the pork cheeks. Both dishes were excellent.

We found the dishes to be generous in size so that by the end of the meal, we were too full to have dessert. We look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful dinner at Firehall Bistro. The paella is just spicy enough and has fresh mussels, prawns etc in a rich tomato sauce. The coconut prawns are a nice appetizer to start...they are huge.
