Dear Harinatha, thank you for your review. Some of our menu are indeed authentic sundanese cuisine suc as: Karedok. Nasi Tutug Oncom. But two of our best seller signature dishes are : Nasi Timbel with Fried Chicken and fresh vegetable and Sambal, and the other one is Flying Gurame which is a crispy fried fish. These delightful dishes, we are certain have flavor that are familiar with most Indonesians even westerners because the composition of the menu could be found in any part of the country, off course with slightly different twist here and there. We look forward to welcome you back at our restaurant to try other scrumptious menu of ours. Cheers!

“Tasty Flying Flish”
Reviewed 19 December 2011

Me & my partner purposely ask our driver to bring us to this restaurant for the dish "flying gurame" aka flying fish. The taste is very good. Very good environment & fast service. Highly recommended. Tips: Sit outside those small hut which has better air flow.

“Fantastic Halal Restaurant, variety of local delicacies”
Reviewed 24 October 2011

Pawan Pasundan is a lovely halal restaurant, situated next to our Aston Tuban Inn Hotel, about 7 minutes drive from the airport with traffic. They serve local varieties and is a one stop you should not miss while in Bali.

When you get in, you will see the usual dining tables and chairs. But if u look on ahead, you will see these little open hut concept which sits a nice large low table with lots of cushions for u to sit on. My family chose the huts of course, just so we can soak into the Balinese atmosphere.

We were greeted by a nice lady who walked through their popular local dishes. They serve many varieties and the pricing was reasonable.

We dined there twice and sampled the following (prices in INDR incl tax, marked * is a must try)
1. *Gurame Bakar Kecap 43,000 (fish)
2. *Ayam Goreng Serundeng 14,500 (chicken)
3. Gurame Pete 45,000 (fish)
4. Cah kangkung 15,000 (vege)
5. *Paket Lele Komplit 27,000 (fish set)
6. Jus Apuket (avocado drink)
7. Others (sorry we didn't get the names)
Any extra chilli paste is chargeable. The variety set comes with a main dish along with rice, raw vegetables and other sides.

The toilet is clean and there is a muslim praying area as well.

They have a little fish pond with a little bridge for the kids to adventure around.

It's a nice eatery for those who don't prefer street stalls.
