“Stunning and unique getaway in the South of France”
Reviewed June 4, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

A stunning and unique property a literal stone’s throw from the beach. Incredible facilities, quirky design and decoration and the perfect place for a quiet get away on the French riviera. Lovely local restaurants and great places to visit nearby.

We’ve been four times now and can’t wait to go back!

This property is a great little find. Booking was very easy via a website. No carry - on with key boxes and codes on arrival we were met by the lovely house keeper Marcella, who showed us around.

The property is in a little village not far from Sainte Maxime. There are a few restaurants and a butchers shop and supermarket within walking distance. There is also a harbour area with a nice Italian restaurant which we visited a few times. (I think there is a ferry to St Tropez and back which runs late into then night, but we didn't do this) I'm told there is a night club further along but we didn't venture that far ourselves.

The best thing about the property is the location. The pictures don't lie. The property sits actually on the water and looks across the sea to St Tropez. The front of the property is all glass doors and on a sunny day these can be opened up completely. Fantastic with a glass of wine and your favourite music. The sun deck on the lower level gives access to a quiet beach with a little beach bar. There is a roof terrace for sunbathing. we had a great BBQ up there one day looking out to sea.

The location is great as a base for sightseeing, we went to St Tropez on a few occasions which is really great, we also went to Port Grimaude and Sainte Maxime where there is a casino and lots of restaurants. The best day of all was our trip along the coastline to Cannes, there are some amazing views and little towns to see.

The house is basic and clean, it has everything you would expect including WIFI. We were a group of 4 friends (2 Couples). The property is big enough to give privacy when required and has 2 bathrooms (one en-suite)
