“7/10.....Could be 9/10 with a little more care and attention to detail”

We stayed for 9 nights in mid April 2018.
The good points....
Its very centrally located in Playa Del Inglese, near to shops/supermarkets and numerous restaurants and Yumbo Shopping & Centre and nightlife within 5 minutes walk. Well served by local buses so its easy to get around and the lovely beaches are within 15 minutes walk.
The accommodation is a nice well furnished 3 bedroom house, 2 bedrooms upstairs with family bathroom and one bedroom downstairs with separate bathroom. We really appreciated the downstairs bedroom/bathroom as my partner has trouble with stairs - we had originally looked at booking a bungalow for that reason but Casalegre 7 suited us well in this respect. There is a lovely lawned area and a hedged off patio area although you are overlooked by apartments next door. The house is located in a secure complex with gates.

The Not So Good Points...
There were one or two annoying things which we felt should have been sorted out before our arrival;-
a) the upstairs toilet had a cracked seat. Not nice! The owner knew about it before we arrived and said he would get it replaced but that never happened in our 9 day stay.
b) the sun umbrella had no base when we arrived so we couldn't use it for the first two days of our holiday. As most people go to Gran Canaria for the sun, having the use of a sun umbrella is a fairly basic requirement. Again the owner promised to rectify the situation but we had to nudge him before he appeared on our 3rd day with the base, which proved too small for the size of the umbrella and so when any breeze blew (and The Canaries are famed for the wind!) then we had trouble with the umbrella blowing over.
c) There was a leak under the kitchen sink so water was seeping out on to the kitchen floor. There were no cloths to mop up the water so we had to go and buy some. Surely someone would have known about this maintenance issue before our arrival? Again we had to notify the owner and he did come and fix it but why was it not checked before guests arrived?
d) Kitchen fairly well equipped, but again, little annoying things like when we cooked a pizza one night, there was no oven glove, there was no washing up sponge/cloth provided, nor any binbags. So again we had to go and buy them.

We have stayed in hundreds of self catering places and these kind of items, whilst not costly, we would expect to be provided.

Finally, because of its location near a main thoroughfare, there is traffic noise from about 7am till late evening so if you are looking for a really quiet location, this is not the place we would recommend.
Would we go back?
Not sure....

Peter thank you very much carry a detailed opinion, as I said it was not easy to get the cover damaged, and I could not get one until after you departure, I'm sorry. It must be borne in mind that there was a guest before and we did not have time to fix the damage. We regret that there was wind and the umbrella moved. We are glad that you could have a nice vacation.
