This hotel is next door to Yumbo centre, the staff are very helpful. We had a problem with the patio doors not locking, it was repaired within 15 minutes of us reporting it. The swimming pool area gets very busy and most people have towels on sunbeds by 0900, but you can generally find a sun bed. The rooms are clean but basic. Having stayed here for the last three years i think the standard has remained consistent and i will go back there next year.

Was booked into the neighbouring 4* Hotel Neputuno, but they were overbooked so we were put in here for 1 night. The room was spacious and fairly well laid out, with a decent sized balcony. it was a bit annopying having a small window directly above the beds - there was a curtain, but with your head directly below the window, light still flowed in. The bathroom was no-frills, and the drainage cover was broken - bit dangerous. Staff at reception were very friendly and efficient.

Ok this hotel is next door to the Yumbo (a shopping centre by day and a gay European hot spot by nite) if u feel uncomfortable around people shopping by day or people cruising by nite don't stay here as u will encounter both ...this hotel is great for anyone who has an open mind and is looking to enjoy their holiday and not moan about homosexuals...now the hotel is situated in an area with loads of nice places to eat I recommend buddies in the Yumbo for a British breakfast mmmm rooms r basic we found the sofa bed in living room area much more comfy than the two single beds in bedroom...self catering no probs everything there needed to cook. Cleaning staff was good did forget on occasion to leave clean towels but I asked and got delivered for me returning from pool...was a couple of things that I didn't like ...one being the fact of no do not disturb sign to put on door so maids was coming in ...very awkward and annoying when suffering hangover and all u require is to b left alone and the fact just one English tv channel.....ohh yeah the red cow pub or something like that directly across from hotel great food and drink footy too wot more could ya ask for....yes u do have to b down early to get good position 4 sun and easy access into pool ...not for sun lounger there is plenty of them ..we found no probs with noise from yumbo, street or other guests on our stay .......will b returning here in march and are very happy to do so

if you look for friendly service, good standart and a apartment, where you are in the middle of everything, BUENOS AIRES is the only answer. We have stayed there for many years, mostly in winter season a 2 to 3 times every year and like it. For them, who want it all, it's all there from the pool to the restaurant, the wire-less zone in the hall and the famous Hard Rock Cafe, directly next to the big Yumbo Center with very good restaurants, perfume shops, gift shops.... you name it.
The apartment hotel is very well driven, nice and friendly staff, cleening every day ( ecpt.sunday) and plenty of space for a couple. You even have a big balcony, where you actually stay most of your time, both for the fresh air and the good view.
If you stay there more and 3 times, you became a VIP-visitor with a discount for next time and further on plus flowers, champagne and hotelslippers --- a very nice gesture.

I am already thinking about when I will book again. I have stayed at other hotels in Playa del Inglés and the quality of those hotels and the service there was nothing to write about. Buenos Aires is not in that category at all.

Upon arrival we received a warm greeting and the reception/lobby area is spotless.

There was a small issue at check in regarding the room which we booked not being available due to circumstances beyond their control - It was not the end of the world however, and the hotel granted us free breakfasts for a number of days to compensate. Any dealings we had with the various reception staff during our stay were warm & friendly.

The following day a small bunch of flowers was delivered especially by housekeeping - When I asked why, the staff member smiled warmly and just said "Buenos Aires!"

The day after that, we returned to our room and found a bottle of wine which had been delivered - We never found out why. Maybe it was standard, but we were very impressed!

The room itself was clean and we had no problems at all in that area.

Location is perfect if you are drawn to the shopping and/or entertainment at the Yumbo Centre. It is literally around the corner, yet noise was never an issue.

To the Staff of Buenos Aires: Keep up the good work and you can be proud of your hotel!
