“Very comfortable, well equipped apartment in a superb location”
Reviewed November 2, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Beautiful beach front accomodation which we found to be well equipped and furnished to a high standard. It was located in a central position of Playa de las Americas close to all the main shops/resturaunts. We wanted something quiet but also within easy reach of all the amenities and this apartment was perfect in every way.

“Quality apartment in delightful complex”
Reviewed February 17, 2015 for a stay in January 2015

After visiting various complexes in Playa de las Americas this is the best resort we have found. The apartment is fitted out to a high standard and in a perfect position overlooking the beach and promenade. Although promenade is always busy the apartment was surprisingly quiet whilst we were there and great for sunbathing and people watching. The complex was beautifully maintained and ideally situated for shops, supermarket and taxis. Wifi only available in reception but pleasnanr uncrowded area with no charge if using own equipment.

“Has to be the best apartment on the complex”
Reviewed January 5, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We just returned from a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. The photos do not do it justice, its pure luxury and we wanted to stay forever! Owners very helpful to reply from any of our questions - and booking it was very simple. I cant find anything not to like about it and I am a very fussy customer!

The location
Right on the doorstep of the beach, fantastic views of the beach and bay. Standing in the kitchen you can see the sea and boats. Restaurants and bars a couple of mins walk away as well as fantastic shopping! Also the pools are again a minute away. We have stayed in a few others in the PS3 complex and none are a patch on the location of this one.

Balconies
On the balconies you can people watch the promenade or on the beach in front. Both upper and lower get amazing sun all day and are a fantastic size. At night very tranquil just the sound of the waves! One has table and chairs and a lovely mosaic bench and the other has loungers which are so comfortable!

Pools / Complex grounds
Spotless, large, kids aquapark like one with 6 slides for 4-12 years old and a playground. Plus use of the other pools at PS4 over the road. All of it is spotless and well maintained. Plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from plus a shopping centre with more shops than you can count.

The kitchen
Really important to us as we cook a lot (child with complex allergies). It was so well equipped , next time I will bring half the stuff with me! Good cooker, hob, micro and plenty of storage. Quality bowls, cutlery, glasses etc. Huge American fridge freezer with ice machine has made me want to buy one for at home! Breakfast bar divides it from lounge with 4 handy stools.

The lounge
Roomy, stunning views of the beach, tv, dvd, 2 sofas. Very comfortable

Bedroom
Roomy, extremely comfy beds, more so than my new one at home! Large wardrobe space, very sturdy safe. Lovely bedding and all very comfy. Stunning high ceiling with large fan and a ladder up to mezzanine for cases which is so handy as they are then out of your way.

Bathrooms
Large showers, very powerful, hot water whenever needed. Washing machine is excellent and next stay will use more and bring half the clothes! Fresh fluffy towels and even beach towels to borrow, so handy, must remember this next time!

All in all this is the nicest place we have ever stayed and it had everything we needed

“Fantastic apartment in perfect location.”
Reviewed December 14, 2014 for a stay in December 2014

The directiions to the apartment were excellent, on opening the door we were not disappointed with what we found. It was immaculate with very modern decor and done to a very high standard. The kitchen was very well equipped with good quality appliances, we loved the large American fridge, espicially the ice cube and chilled water dispenser . The towels were lovely and thick and plenty of them. All the small touches had been thought about from table cloths, to very nice crockery and glasses. The bedroom upstairs was again lovely and clean with comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The shower in the bathroom was very spacious with plenty of hot water. The upstairs balcony was perfect for sunbathing, whilst the one below was great for breakfast and lunch overlooking the beach. We espically loved the tilled seat on the balcony, perfect position to catch the last rays of sun. The apartment is in a perfect position to the beach, pools and plenty of good shops and restaruants. A great break, in a fantastic apartment with good location. Cannot wait to go again!!

“Overpriced,resting on past glories.”
Reviewed December 14, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We rented this apartment after reading the owner's wonderful review. We paid £775 per week and found this to be £ 325 per week more than similar apartments in the same complex.
To be fair, the situation and view were excellent as were the beds, blinds, crockery and glasses but the apartment overall was tired and needed attention in many areas. For example the arms on the red leather setee were badly worn and dirty,.
The downstairs toilet has a saniflow system and our main grievance was the fact that the system had obviously been abused and was not fit for purpose, resulting a permanent public toilet smell which permeated throughout the apartment. We reported this to the owner and a maintenance person appeared to try to resolve the problem but it made no difference.
Two towels were left for our two week stay ....again we reported this and more towels appeared.. The bar chairs were rusty as were other metal items such as bins.

There was absolutely no operating instructions for the induction hob,tv,washing machine and no ifo regarding Wi fi ,refuse etc. w did find out that Wi Fi is readily available at reception. We did phone the contact Susan in England regarding this but she never got back to us so we had to ask around for information.

This apartment is vastly overpriced and resting on past glories. We have booked another apartment in Parque Santiago 3 for next year and it is the same footprint with better furnishings, for £325 pounds per week less.

I find this report quite "UNFAIR" ... as you will see from the review from the people who followed this couple into the apartment & who gave us that glowing 5* report!! The lady in question states that ..... QUOTE "To be fair, the situation & view were excellent as were the beds, blinds, crockery & glasses" - all for 2 stars!!! I believe that there isn't much left in a 1 bedroom apartment - which has been beautifully designed & kept to a very high standard AND which is extremely popular having back to back visitors all year round. The beds, bedding, towels & blinds (curtains) are all brand new this year as is the fabulous curved tiled seating area on one of the balconies. May I also add that we provide beach towels as well as bathroom towels for every guest. OK, the red leather settee which is far from old & is still in good condition as the cushions have been covered by a throw to protect them from suntan oil but, unfortunately, I do agree that the arms are now getting discoloured but certainly not dirty! It is a shame to have to throw away a perfectly good settee because of the red leather arms turning a darker colour but, as we always pride ourselves with the attention to detail that our guests would expect (especially all our many repeat visitors), this is what we will do in the coming year. Re. the bar stools - as I am sure everyone knows, that possibly the only downfall of living a stones throw away from the sea is that stainless steel doesn't remain "stainless" for very long as the sea-salt air corrodes it, causing slight pitting where rust can appear ... a problem that I am sure we can all live with for that view! Unfortunately there was a slight problem with the downstairs toilet that week which was reported to us &, as stated by the lady, we sent someone around immediately. This EXTRA bathroom was added to the design of the apartment for the convenience of the OCCASIONAL 3rd person (mainly a child) being accommodated in the apartment. It is a "saniflow", as stated, as that was the only toilet that could be fitted there as, to my knowledge, no other 1 bedroom apartment has this very handy 2nd shower room facility. It has rarely caused any problems & obviously it was perfectly OK for the following visitors who wrote that next review. To conclude most of the properties in Parque Santiago have not been renovated or updated & are fairly old-fashioned in their appearance, as well as their equipment & few have our location (all of which we cannot be criticised on!) - hence being less expensive than ours.

“Bronze star not gold and in need of freshening up”

Great location near to the beach, however it is an expensive apartment at over £100 per night and certainly not gold star.
The fridge is a good size with room enough for your drinks and food. The balconies enjoy great views over the promenade, and beach almost a stones throw away. Clean comfortable bed, room safe, ample wardrobes and hanging space. Adequate cooking utensils which are basic.Good supply of thick beach towels which is a big help and useful washing machine. Upstairs shower area roomy. Good soft furnishings.
However there are 9 light fittings in the kitchen of which only 3 work, the upstairs shower doesn't work properly. The bathroom towels are of a poor quality, threadbare and thin. The tea towels too are old and in need of replacement, some had holes in them, and the sun loungers old and need replacing. A clean, tidy apartment, well located which promised much but disappointed on a few basic essentials which could have been picked up by closer inspection.

I am quite surprised with this review as this couple are repeat visitors to this apartment & usually regular guests realise I try to keep "on the ball' with all correspondence & with any issues that need to be dealt with.
Firstly, most of the light bulbs are new LED long lasting halogen bulbs but, unfortunately, when the kitchen was built for us, for some unknown reason, the kitchen fitters placed the switches UNDER the top kitchen units &, although there is (& still should be) a notice on the wall with an arrow pointing up to the area where the switches are, they do tend to get overlooked. I think we will have to try to move them to a more obvious position, if at all possible!
The shower is also less than 12 months old so should not be faulty &, hopefully, it should still be on guarantee, so thank you for pointing this out to us. Also the sun beds are not old but, on inspection after this review, they do appear to be faulty & will immediately be replaced. Our apologies for these problems but unless we are told about these type of issues, we tend not to know about them as the cleaners wouldn't realise about these type of faults. I think I may have to put in my "Welcome" letter for guests to inform me of any problems whilst on their holiday, if they wish us to rectify any matters whilst they are still there & if it will make their stay more comfortable. Otherwise, not wishing to interrupt visitors on their holidays unless absolutely necessary, we tend to sort these things out on changeover days.
We do sincerely regret the towel situation. We regularly renew our towels & linen & although this apartment is extremely popular with back to back bookings all year round, as can be seen from our availability calendar, we have had no feedback that the towels were getting tired. Our management team have been told to replace them immediately.
We do appreciate being told of any issues, especially as we do take pride in trying to keep all our properties up to a high standard, & therefore, as soon as we do know about any problems, we always rectify them by mending or replacing whatever is necessary. Thank you for bringing our attention to the above matters & giving me a chance to explain about them. We do hope we can accommodate you again in the future.
Kind Regards,
Caroline.
