This hotel is just fab! I have been back now 3 times as it is in such a great place. The resort itself is nicely tucked in a little bay far enough away from the crazy streets of las americas and it has tonnes of really nice restauraunts with loads of choice. The hotel is just on the beach so any decisions about whether to spend a day idling by the pool or on the beach are really easy. We always go bed and breakfast and there is plenty of choice for even the fussiest of eaters. I personally like them to make me a fresh omlette there and then. The staff are frienly and helpful and the hotel itself is spotless.

We stayed at The Cleopatra for 6 days in Feb 2012 and could not fault the hotel at all. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of cava and the room was ready early for us, Great pool area with not too many kids and a fantastic breakfast each morning with a great selection of smoothies, juice and very good coffee.

In a good area of PDLA with the shopping centre opposite which has an excellent chinese/japanese restaurant.

We are returning to the Cleopatra later this year and looking forward to it already.

Difficult to fault the hotel. Great location in the centre, close to all best shops and restaurants. Impressive quality of decor in reception. Rooms quite large, comfortable beds, good quality furniture on balcony.
Breakfast was excellent, where you could use a fresh orange juice making machine for no charge. There is even a meat counter where they slice any of variety of meats for you.
Pool area is high quality and was easy to get a sun bed when we were there.
WiFi is free as is safe and fridge.
Tip, beware of pickpockets late evenings, who seem to target single men.

Nice looking hotel in a fantastic location. We went for 2 weeks at the beginning of feb 2012 and had a great time. The hotel itself was fine. Rooms perhaps a little on the small side and looking a bit basic and dated although the balcony was great; nice and roomy. All of the rooms have a balcony. Foodwise I can only comment on the breakfasts as we went B&B. Best breakfast buffet I've ever seen with plenty of absolutely everything! The sunbeds at the Cleopatra were a bit tatty and I should think in the height of summer things may get a little stressful as there are far, far fewer sunbeds than guests! There is no kettle in the room, we took a travel kettle with us so no problem. Also the fridge is left empty so that you can keep your own drinks cool and fill it with whatever you like. Staff were great. Keycards were a nuisance as they constantly stopped working. The position of the hotel is fantastic as you have lots and lots of restaurants and bars on your doorstep, also only 20 min walk along promenade to Los Cristinos with cafes etc all the way along. Overall a great holiday at a hotel which was nice but could be nicer!

Room Tip: Pool view good as sea view very, very windy especially in the winter months!

This Is our 7th holiday at the Cleopatra in January so that in its self would suggest we are happy with the Hotel. We visited at the end of January to take in a birthday, and had a really good time. A few things have changed over the years not all for the better, but the resort continues to improve its quality with the shops and restaurants the best area in Tenerife.
On arrival at the hotel we are still greeted with a welcome drink but the comfortable seats around the reception desk had been removed and you stand and talk to the receptionist not at eye level which is not a good impressiom for the hotel to create. I think this has been done as more guests now arrive by coach and tend to form a queue. I think there should be a re-think of this system.
The rooms have been upgraded with new flat screeen televisions and furnishings but the bathrooms require the same upgrading. Breakfast is very good and improved by adding freshly made fruit smoothes and freshly carved meats with the same excellent service.
The pool area is as before never any problem with sun beds at this time of year even though the hotel appears almost full. The same pool attendant has been there for years who always keeps everything ship shape and nothing seems too much trouble for him.
The pool bar, we noted that the menu had been drastically reduced. The prices had been increased and the quality and presentation was poor compared to previous years. My suggestion walk out there are plenty of places too eat.
To finish we would recomend this hotel and we will be returning next year.

Room Tip: Good standard rooms 7332
