We found the monument of Jesus in Cowboy boots after circling a couple of times. It is pretty much in the center of the cemetery near the corner of N Main and Blk K. There is a tree and a Historic sign on the corner near the monument of Mr. Babcock.

Kinda neat to see, in my opinion.

Anyone who is visiting Paris,TX or just driving through must see the Evergreen cemetery. Within its vast well manicured headstones you will find some unique sites. One of the most popular is the monument, "Jesus in cowboy boots" as well as the history of seeing ghosts! It's massive and beautiful to see the many gravestones from several centuries.

This is such a well kept awesome cemetery. Always lovingly taken care of and never a time I'm there that their isn't visitors visiting loved ones. I have three relatives there & visit often.

Dirt/gravel roadways make accessing this cemetery quite easy - at least in dry weather. The variety of headstones and memorials is impressive. Many shady spots to get out of the sun.

Another cute little treasure of Paris, TX! The only cemetery I have ever seen where Jesus is wearing cowboy boots! Very cute, Texas!
