We had stayed here several years ago but unfortunately it did not measure up as well this time. On the plus side, the price was right. The room was clean, the A/C worked quite well, not too noisy. The breakfast was adequate, although on our third day they were out of fresh fruit and yogurt. The pool water was cloudy and needed some chemical adjustment for the whole 3 days we were there. Possibly not safe for swimming. The pool area contained broken furniture and cigarette litter. The place just seemed a little run down. I doubt we will stay here again.
Hello, glad the room was clean. As for the breakfast, we order 3 times a week and it goes pretty fast. We try to keep it stocked! We do have a person now that is taking care the outside area since we was under staff there.
We stayed here in the past and for some reason it is getting worse, we were here June 15-17th and this time around was the worst ever. Check in was a breeze and staff was friendly, got up to the room and sitting outside the door was a bag of trash. We assumed it was from the cleaning crew and thought nothing of it thinking it would be picked up shortly, fast forward to Friday morning and after several calls to the front office someone finally came to get the dirty tampon and pizza box, ice cream wrappers ect, ect that had fallen out of the bag from the wind blowing. Roaches in room and tub would drain at a snails pace so you are standing in dirty water while taking a shower, juice dispenser at breakfast was not working and we were told on the first day there it would be fix because the service tech was aware of the issue, fast forward to Saturday when we checked out, you guessed it, it was still broken lol, just a joke. Unfortunately I will spend my money at a different location from now on, sorry Island hotel.
This was our first stay. Both my husband and I were very impressed at how friendly the front desk was, how clean the room was, and overall wonderful location for his birthday vacation trip. We definitely will book at this hotel the next time we go to Port Aransas,

It wasn't the nicest place but it was quaint and close to the beach. The front desk workers are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very loud due to lack of soundproofing and insulation, and are somewhat musty/muggy. Overall, I would stay here again for the convenience and friendliness.
