Loved this property! The staff was so friendly. We arrived at 9pm and there was a long line of guests waiting to check in. The staff member checking ein never lost her smile. She was kind to everyone and made each of us feel like we were the only ones in line. The room was very clean. The mattress was very comfortable which has been challenging to find on this long trip. We actually chose to sleep in this morning which felt great and was much needed. They gave us a fun goody bag for our pet and a toy for our toddler. When we went to checkout, breakfast was being put away because we slept late. The front desk asked if they could get us something for the road. Great experience from start to finish!

Outstanding!!

I don't know where they find their staff, but they find remarkable people. This is the second time I've stayed here and once again the front desk staff is so friendly and helpful! The room is absolutely spotless..I knew when I pulled the covers down at bedtime that the sheets would be spotless and I wasn't disappointed. Everything works...TV excellent, A/C will freeze you out. Excellent shower with wonderful shampoo and body wash. I used the stairs a couple of times instead of the elevator and even the stairwells are clean! I cannot say enough about this hotel.

Friendly, clean place to stay.

Excellent location, friendly staff, nice breakfast, and clean rooms. Easy on and off the interstate. Great place to stay with your dog. Simple and clean rooms. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was excellent and even found my lost phone for me.

Room tip: No pool, but we never use the pool anyway. They even had a gift bag for the dog.

Highly recommend!!

About 30 minutes from the airport but a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, with welcoming front desk staff. Hot breakfast in the morning and coffee in the lobby all day. Definitely recommend and if in the area again we will be sure to stay here.

Room tip: Fire pit outside.

Excellent lodging option in Ogden area!

We are Hilton Diamond members and really enjoyed our stay here at the Tru! Beautiful facility, great amenities and clean and comfortable. Staff were AMAZING and so helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel valued and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Bad For Light Sleepers

Bad For Light Sleepers
I stayed in May 2023 and will give the pros and cons.
As a light sleeper, cons outweigh the pros.
Cons: I was shocked by how thin the walls are. The A/C or Heater will go quiet for a few minutes and then all of a sudden make a loud sound like a lawn mower, which was very startling throughout the night. I even switched rooms and the new room did the same thing the next day. Beyond the inadequate HVAC, the walls are paper thin and you will hear every time your neighbors shut their doors, flush a toilet, or makes a phone call. I even heard my neighbors’ alarm clocks go off in the morning.
That said, the pros are that the hotel staff are very nice, there is free parking, decent breakfast, and the hotel is modern with new amenities and clean rooms.

We’re sorry to hear that you found the rooms to be noisy and appreciate you letting us know as we’re always striving to please our guests. We chose a non-carpet solution for Tru guestrooms to help with cleanliness throughout the room. Additionally, non-carpeted flooring serves as a benefit to our guests with seasonal allergies, minimizing the amount of triggers in the environment. The HVAC system will turn on and off when the temperature is met, to make the unit stay consistent, you can turn it to fan instead of auto and it will not turn on and off. We know that there are trade-offs with every decision, and appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
If you choose to give us another chance when you are in the area, next time please let us know to place you on the top floor in a quiet location to minimize the sound. We also have noise machines and ear plugs available at the front desk for light sleepers. Hilton has many brands with different options of rooms and building layouts. We can discuss more if you would like to give us a call at 385-245-1305 and dial "0" to talk with the front desk about your stay. We can't take back your experience but can try and make it right.
