We walked around the quaint town and saw the Wild Thyme Cafe and proceeded back to our hotel with an entirely different dinner plan out of proximity, to be honest. When the restaurant at our hotel had a wait time of over 40 minutes, we decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did. We showed up 15 minutes before closing (we asked first, please don’t think we’re jerks.) The staff was so friendly and welcoming, assuring us they’re still serving food if people are still walking in and hungry. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. I believe our server’s name was Candy (not positive, I’m so sorry if that’s incorrect.) but she was SO KIND even though we came in at the end of her shift and didn’t seem to be fazed. She was prompt and really good. This place deserves a 10 star rating but I can only give 5. The baked penne was delicious.
