The Hampton Inn Ogden has the feel of a 'legacy' hotel. The hotel layout conforms to the building with sections of the buildings structural supports visible. The rooms are of a good size and are very quiet. Parking is off site around the corner.

Room tip: Request a high floor with an eastern view if you like sun rises.

I love the Hampton Inn Experience and the location is great with all the activities so close but the Washington street is a drag strip at night until about 1 am. Great beds. The Ifly, Flowrider, bowling, movies and the Temple are soo close.

The rooms were clean, but very small....worst part was the sketchy parking a block away. We had to roll our hockey gear through and around block. This was less that perfect for our needs. The beds were very soft and hurt our backs and the hallways were very noisy.

The staff was grreat, but the facility and amenities are just OK. Parking and access to the lobby are problems (Streetside access only). Valet parking was required, which forces another $12.00 to the bill. With the parking costs, there are other hotels in the area that are a better value.

We prefer the Hampton hotel brand. They provide consistent service. We find the beds and pillows comfortable and the breakfast is satisfying. They offer complimentary hot drinks and cookies in the lobby. They are always pleasant to deal with.
