A fascinating, historical walking tour of Park City's ghostly inhabitants; up one side of Park City's Main Street & down the other with numerous stops along the way and fabulous stories told by a knowledgeable guide in western period attire. A side trip to the next street over & the China Bridge area was filled w/history of the railroad's early Chinese laborers. Definitely bundle up as nights are COLD, wear good walking shoes as there's a bit of an uphill climb (but worth it) & bring water. RSVP's needed.

Eight of us enjoyed Kate's tour through Park City. She was very informative, interesting and made it a fun time! Not scary - my 7-year old was fascinated, enjoyable for all ages, we represented, 7, 10, 11, 13, 46, 37, 72 and 78. There was some walking but very doable, We did wear tons of layers and I was grateful for my hand warmers - just check the weather. It was a great way to be entertained and learn about Park City!

We went on the Ghost Tour for Halloween weekend. The guide was a fun man who told little tidbits of information about the town as well as the places we visited. He was animated and fun. This walking tour was one of the highlights of our trip.

This is a fun tour and a good way to orient yourself to Main Street in Park City. The stories all have a little something extra (compared to your usual ghost stories) given the historical details and personal testimonies. We loved learning about all of the interesting characters that used to populate Park City (and some who died but apparently never left)! Tour guide was engaging and friendly. Remember to bring a jacket as Park City usually gets cold at night this time of year.

My husband and I took this tour about 3 years ago and enjoyed it so much that we insisted that my sister and her boyfriend go on the tour with us. We were not disappointed. Although some of the stories were the same, some were different. So many people have died over the years with such great stories of their lives that they can't possibly tell you every single story. We had an advantage as we had also toured the cemeteries and read what books we could find of the area. It would be wonderful if the tour operators would write a book!

Now, as to our personal experience, after the first tour, we took a drive in an area of the yellow slicker ghost. It was light when we started and dark when we were coming down. We saw red lights coming up on our rear bumper. We thought someone was backing out of their driveway and we hurried so they wouldn't hit us. The lights stayed back there! We thought it was kids with red lights trying to scare tourists but as soon as we got to the pavement area of town the lights disappeared!

The other story happened on the tour the first time we saw a woman in a window of the hotel the guide was talking about. We took a photo, but it only showed a bright light!

On the second tour, a window was closed in the same hotel when we first walked by it, but open when we passed by again moments later.

Go check it out! You may not see a ghost but you will learn a lot of history of Park City.
