We usually come here once a year to ski/snowboard. Due to our schedules, we haven't been here in a few years. We noticed that the overall service has really suffered. Everyone is very helpful and pleasant, but I think there are some training/systems problem. Skier services lost a pair of ski boots the last time we stayed, and getting a new pair that fit well took most of that trip. This trip, they lost a set of ski poles, and gave us cheap loaners for our time here. All the staff at Skier services were really nice, and it wasn't their fault the poles were lost, but heard from others that their possessions had also been lost, so this is not an isolated problem. The last day, they told us they still could not find the poles, and that they were not sure if they could replace them. That would have to go through coroporate in Florida. They did finally buy us a set of poles which were comparable. That turned out okay. We ran out of toilet paper late one night, but couldn't call to ask for more because the phone wasn't working in our room. After calling a phone number online and being bounced around we finally gave up until the next morning and used Kleenex until the next morning. The fold out couch bed was broken; we had difficulty getting it back in the couch. We contacted the front desk after our first night, and asked if it could be fixed. We were out all day, and came back to find it folded in the couch. We figured it was fixed, but the next day had the same problem. We called again, and luckily had a nice gentleman, Chuck, from engineering come by to fix it. He is very awesome. One of the few bright spots on this trip. It is also difficult to book here. I would not recommend buying in to this time share if you are considering this option. The maintenence fees have gone up astronomically over the last year, and booking is tough. We were supposed to have a grand suite this time, but ended up with the small lock-off. When we called directly, we were told that they had a lot of grand suites available, so we should be able to switch over when we arrived. When we got here, they said that they did have available grand suites, but they can't just give us one, even though we had grand suite weeks that we could have used. Anytime we have tried to use our time share elsewhere, we have found the hotels/resorts with interval international are in the middle of nowhere, and not where we woud consider going, and they are extremely difficult to book when we have tried. Overall, the best things going for this property is the friendly and helpful staff and its location (close to the lifts).

Thank you for sharing your experience. It is unfortunate to hear that you may have experienced issues with your belongings and the ski valet services. Although we regret to hear of the inconveniences, we are relieved to know that our friendly and helpful staff was able to provide you with the appropriate accommodations. We regret to hear that you also experienced issues with the unit, such as requesting for toiletries and the sofa bed. Your comments will help us to find opportunities to ensure that our resort’s approach continues to be conducive to our guests’ satisfaction. We hope you will give us another opportunity to serve you when your travels bring you back to the Park City area.

Full service resort located right at the gondola at The Canyons Park City. Seasonal staff, many from South America, were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are fine but not luxurious. On site ski rentals, pool, etc. Probably the best option to stay at the base of the mountain, better than The Summit or Sundial. Book directly or look at VRBO or HomeAway, lots of units listed for rent. The Bison Lodge is the newest wing. Expect to get lost as this looks like it was laid out by a drunk who liked to torment visitors - long winding walks to get around. Not many restaurant choices within walking distance, the hotel does offer a free shuttle so plan to use it.

great location to start each day by rolling out the door on your bike - head south on the farm trail to connect to PCMC base area and climb, climb the trails behind the resort to access rob's trail going north, which leads to UOP trails and eventually you can connect to glenwild trail system. climbing the trails behind the resort and heading south on mid-mountain trail allows for a great loop with tying in pinecone to the wasatch crest and finally descending back to the resort. the bike wash provided near the gondola is key for keeping the drive-trains working well. WG provides secure bike storage.

We will definitely stay here again and plan to visit annually. Staff are very professional, friendly, and respectful. They make you feel special upon arrival and throughout the duration of your entire stay. Beau Bryan at the front desk was wonderful. He went beyond what an ordinary person would do to make sure you are taken care of. Canyons mountain is great for skiing at all levels. The gondolas and ski lifts to Canyons were right outside the resort doors. Ski Valet would bring our skis to us and dry our ski boots for the next day. The entire family felt pampered. The resort also provided a courtesy shuttle to anywhere in Park City, which was great. After a long day of skiing it was nice to jump into our personal Jacuzzi located in our bedroom. The resort has a heated indoor/out pool, which made it possible to swim in the snow. Gorgoza park is nearby for tubing (for the entire family) or mini snow mobile (for the little ones). Lots of close and good restaurants to eat. I can go on and on about how AMAZING this place is.

Room Tip: We loved our view of the pool and snow capped mountains. Absolutely breath taking.

My husband and I stayed in the One Bedroom Grand, and never wanted to leave! Our last visit here was in the One Bedroom Standard, which is tiny and does not have the jacuzzi tub, FYI. But this visit we really enjoyed the full kitchen, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and steam shower in the Grand. You really don't need to leave! The outdoor pools are heated year-round, so we also enjoyed these amenities in the falling snow, so beautiful. Will go back next time we're in PC!
