“Can't be beat in Park City”

I have stayed at Newpark every year since it opened and I keep expecting the initial charm to wear off, but it doesn't. Newpark is the perfect blend of design, space, location, amenities, and price. At this point, I don't even bother looking around - I simply book Newpark and know that I'll have a great vacation.

The one or two bedroom units are huge and feature high-end finishes throughout. Each of these units has a balcony with amazing views of the Olympic center and nearby resorts and has its own 2-3 person hot tub. The hotel also a very nice indoor/outdoor pool with a large outdoor hot tub in the common area. A small, yet very functional kitchen (range, convection oven, dishwasher, small appliances) is great for making breakfast each day and the regular-sized stainless steel fridge will hold all of the water/juice/beer/etc you need for your trip. The bathroom is huge and has a nice tub, shower with frameless glass, double sinks, and granite and nice tile throughout. The bedroom (in the 1 bedroom unit) is a bit tight, but is plenty comfortable considering the quality of the king-sized bed. It does tend to get a bit hot in there at night, but that can easily be solved by cracking the window in the room. The living room has a nice fireplace and both the living room and bedroom have decent sized flat screen tv's.

Newpark is located in the Redstone shopping center and offers tons of shopping and dining options nearby (try the Fat Kid Pizza at Maxwell's). You can get to 7 of Utah's best ski resorts all within about 40 minutes (Canyons 5 minutes, Park City 10, Deer Valley 15, Solitude 35, Brighton 40, Snowbird 35, Alta 40). Downtown Park City is about 10 minutes and has a very nice main street to spend some time on. The bus service in the area seems good, but I always rent a car since it's not that much more expensive than airport transfers.

One note, the "Deluxe Guestrooms" are nice, but do not have some of the amenities listed above (balcony, hot tub, kitchen).

I plan to keep going to Newpark and worry a bit about writing such positive comments (making it tougher and more expensive to rent) - but I do believe that a great service/product should be rewarded, so hence the review. Unless you are looking for a ski in/out or want to stay within downtown Park City, Newpark is a great choice for your trip.

We stayed for a ski trip in January and loved this hotel. It was very clean and had a great lobby. Everyone at the front desk that we talked to were very kind, the two that really stood out during our stay was Jim and Jennifer. They were very accommodating.
Our room was not expected! It was large and the private hot tub was a great touch. I do wish there was a stove, but the kitchenette was stocked well if we wanted to cook.
The beds are also a plus, very comfortable.
Will stay here again next time we come to Park City.

I stayed at New Park for a business event and was not impressed. The units were very narrow and strangely laid out, and the overall feeling throughout the hotel was cold and impersonal. There was something going on next door, they seemed to be cleaning it for two days straight. Not at all impressed.

We only got to stay here for 2 nights but it was great! We stayed in a one bedroom suite (the one with the long hallway that most of the reviews and pictures mention) and the bed was huge with nice linens and very pleasant to sleep on! The room was also very clean. Out on the private balcony is a hot tub and it was also equally amazing. It was difficult to get the temperature to go down below 105 degrees but that wasn't too bad (I prefer 100 to 103). It was also nice to have a small stove top and full sized refrigerator. The bathroom was also very large with two sinks and seperate bathtub and shower. There was also a lot of storage areas for ski equipment. My only gripe was the fact that the TV was so high on the wall (above the fireplace) which made it so I felt like I constantly looking up, giving me a neckache. I already have neck problems so that might just be me but it seemed high. It did have some really nice hookups so you could hook your computer right up to the monitor with video and sound which really was nice. I didn't have too much interaction with the staff other than check-in. The clerk seemed like she was having a bad day and wasn't very "cheery" but we all have those days. She got the job done adequetly but without much of a personality.

Great hotel ,great location(next to I-80 and across from Outlet Mall).Huge pool and spa.I choose the luxury suite. The room is huge, with full kitchen, free internet, free parking, the private spa is awesome. The restaurants in hotel are great.Just few minutes to major resorts. The flat HD tv is brand new.The heated floors are also great.I have nothing bad to say about this hotel,I can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Choose the luxury suite.
