As others have mentioned, the rooms are nicely updated and comfortable. Bed was nice. Internet was useless. Would not work consistently on my thinkpad, iPad, or iPhone. I called the help number and they didn't seem to think there was a problem. Had a good signal in room 101, but the connection was inconsistent and useless.

Stayed: March 2012

I apologize for the internet. We are currently upgrading the system and the changeover has caused some unexpected problems. The provider’s technician has been scheduled to come and hopefully we will be able to have this problem solved in short order. I am glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay and hope you will continue to consider us in the future. All our best.

The kids love the pool. Plenty of rooms to allow our larger clan to stay in one spot. Staff is quite friendly. Clean and comfortable. We were near the street, but did not hear any noise. The breakfast area can be quite crowded when hotel is at full capacity, but that is to be expected. We received a discount because we were there for a few days. This was our second stay and we will book there again,

Room Tip: ask for the corner room above the outside pool -- it is a tad larger

Thank you for your comments. There are suddenly several comments regarding our room sizes. Thanks for your understanding and patience when things are busier than usual with many teams and families staying with us. We have added an additional staff member on the busy days which does help the flow, however seating can fill up. We look forward to seeing you again and as always let us know where we can improve…we’ll look into it.

To our future guests: I am sure it sounds conflicting for some of our potential guests. The properties buildings were build at three different times and as a consequence we actually have four different size rooms. For those requesting a “larger room” ask to have your room in the “front section”. These rooms, as this guest had, are actually a little larger than those built by today’s typical standards.

Perfunctory greeting on check in, no eye contact, no welcome. Single clerk took a ohone call reservation while 2 families waited in line to check in. Remodeled with good mattresses, but rooms are small and not well lit (no light in luggage rack area, couldn't see to select clothes!). New flat screen TV but blurry reception! Very disappointed in the breakfast after reading such raves here: basic cereal, breads, waffles, but no yoghurt, cooked eggs or meat, and very limited fresh fruit. Breakfast room extremely small for hotel this size, line went out the door, no seats. Front desk apologized they were sold out, but a little overnight planning would've helped!

Thank you for your comments. I want to thank you also for using such a great word: “perfunctory”, I haven’t heard or read that one for a while. :- ) Please know your experience with the staff is VERY atypical of the service and attitude that we strive to give each of our guests. If you wouldn’t’ mind, would you e-mail or call me with any information that will allow me to research into your experience. We are in the process of upgrading our television provider and will soon be converting our breakfast to include hot menu items such as the scrambled eggs and meat. Thank you for staying with us and I hope you will still consider us in the future and have a more typical experience.

I loved everything about this hotel! The beds were extremely comfortable, the continental breakfast was delicious! You get to make your own waffles, plus they had cereal, bagels and fruit ect. The indoor pool was nice with a hot tub and clean towels at your disposal so you don't have to use your bath towel from your room. The tv is a nice size and the bedding on the beds were comfortable and beautiful. The sheets were so soft too! Our room was very clean. The front office staff was so helpful and kind and gave us discount cards for some places to eat.I just can't say enough good things about this hotel Will definitely stay here again!

If you want to say more good things about the hotel you are more than welcome to comment again. I am happy to read your stay went well; it’s what we strive for, and the 42” televisions are nice. We will soon be upgrading our breakfast from a continental to a hot breakfast. Be certain to let us know what you think the next time you stay. All our best, and thanks again for the great review!

My wife and I had occasion to stay in St. George, UT recently and we found this particular Best Western available. We were quite surprised at the friendliness of the motel staff. We were greeted as though we were returning home, and a call from the front desk after we had a chance to unpack the car was a pleasant surprise. The rooms might be small, but the recent remodeling of this place made it quite enjoyable. And being in the center of so much city activity, it was suprising quiet. Several couples we met at the breakfast commented that they frequent the motel and highly recommend it. We have to agree. You, too, can enjoy the great hospitality and comfort.

Room Tip: Call the hotel directly.

Thank you for your review. You are “welcome home” any time. We have a great staff here and they really do try their best to make certain all is top notch and as perfect as possible. I would recommend calling direct as well. There really is a lot to do and see here in the center of town, even if it’s just for a pleasant stroll. Recently I enjoyed a great treat at Neilson’s Frozen Custard, just three blocks away. Next time you by I would recommend you check out the carousel over in the downtown

stayed here one night on standby. $130... a bit of chaos at breakfast and way too much disposable cutlery, plates etc for our liking... but rooms nice and comfy. need to have a plug for the bath but we managed!
St Goerge town centre is really lovely...check out the sculptures in the town square... and so clean!

I am glad to read we were able to fit you in. Without knowing further information the best I can offer on the rate is that we are competitive in relation to the area hotels, and services. The breakfast can get busy on the busy team weekends (if that is when you came). As soon as we finish our upgrades to a hot breakfast we will look into the disposable cutlery costs. The nice thing is they are, or are being switched over to bio-degradable products. The city has done a fabulous job with the downtown area. It really is a pleasant area to stroll around.

Thank you for your review! I didn’t mean to take so long in responding. We are friendly now as when you left your review. Something new since your stay…we are the first property in St. George to offer guest, in-room recycling. It has been supported so well by our guests that two-thirds of what was once sent to the land fill is now being sent to the recycler’s. Awesome! Which will go a long way in keeping our area beautiful longer.
