Wow. Just stayed here for two nights durning spring break so we could see Zion. We loved it. Super clean and appears to be newly remodeled. The entire place is very well taken care of. Our room was perfect. Two beds 2TVs huge bathroom sitting area and a small gated patio area that opened to the pool. This hotel is perfect for a couples retreat. A family getaway or a Mt Bike trip (which I intend to do). What impressed me Best was the staff. Super nice and wanted to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. If your going to Saint George/Zion and want a unique resort style experience. This is the place.

I’ve been visiting the magic that is the green valley spa for more than 15 years. My dear friend’s man agent company was affiliated and we lived girl’s weekends there. So it was heartbreaking when we returned last weekend with our children and I was badly burned on the hotel’s fireplace vent that comes out of the wall into our patio’s seating area. We alerted the front desk and the manager on duty and were told that it would be addressed.

Not only was nothing addressed we were double charged resort fees. When my husband called to talk to The GM, Richard Hill, he chuckled under his breath and declared it wasn’t a priority because no one had ever been burned there. He didn’t even bother to fill out an accident report.

Watch your children closely on the patios with fireplaces in the rooms!

Once again, we would sincerely like to apologize for the burn incident. It is always our priority to offer all medical options to our guests when or if a guest is ever injured. Our front desk agent asked Ms. Meredith if she wanted anything for the burn and she said no. The agent and a manager tried to help/assist Ms. Meredith on at least 3 occations and Ms. Meredith refused. We asked if we could do anything else for her and Ms. Meredith said no that she was fine, she just wanted us to be aware of the situation. The manager saw Ms. Meredith a few minutes later as he walked over to her room to see her and ask if she needed any further attention, she was back in the swimming pool with her husband and kids swimming, we assumed everything was resolved. We did offer her 50% off all Spa services. Once we saw the negative postings on several social media outlets our General Manager personally reached out to the guest out of personal concern. Our General Manager personally called the guest to offer compensation (the guest did not call the resort) Our General manager was told Ms. Meredith would rather dispute it with the credit card company. Our General Manager never laughed or chuckled. The guest was not charged twice for the resort fee.
Sincerely,
Management.

Last weekend I had a girls/roommate reunion at Amira. It was picturesque! So so wonderful! I was very happy with my experience here!!! First of all the staff was very friendly and helpful! They were very warm and gave us and our luggage a ride to our room on a golf cart. Definitely made us feel special. Second, the room was a great place to relax and visit. With the super comfy beds, the fire place, the big bathroom for all of us girls, and the fridge and table for all of our snacks for our late night conversations, was exactly what we needed.
And third, the facility provided all the fun activities that you could want for a girls weekend! There was quick access to pools as well as the spa where you can truly indulge and treat yourself. Such a wonderful weekend!

I strongly encourage anyone to come check this place out! It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy some girl time! Loved every minute! Thanks Amira

The worst hotel experience I've ever had.

Disgusting room, infested with bugs and roaches. Thin walls so even though there was only one or two other patrons, we could hear every conversation as if it was happening in our room. None of the advertised features are actually true and the incredibly rude staff makes no apologies. The manager blamed third party sites like trip advisor and said the information advertised here is not actually true..

The evening manager also made lewd comments to me while in my bathing suit at the pool, touched me and asked to join him in his room that night. Reported it to management the next day who again didn't apologize and made very clear they didnt care.

Really repulsive place. AVOID

I am the reservations manager. I received a call from a 3rd party guest, she had booked a room through a 3rd party site with the Amira Resort and Spa for her friend Tori, there were 3 girls traveling together that were passing through St. George. Her friend’s Tori’s car had broken down in St. George and she asked if her friends could check in with her reservation. she needed a pet friendly room, as her friends had 2 fury friends. I respond with a friendly yes, if they present their I.D. and a credit card for incidentals. All our booking sites, TripAdvisor being one of them, state very clearly, we are a NON- SMOKING property. When reserving the rooms for her friends, she neglected to tell them it was a non- smoking resort.
The evening of their arrival, our evening associate received a call from the Well Fit Zion manager (Well Fit Zion is on our property, but separate management, they share our room inventory) at 10:45 pm stating her guests (meaning the Well Fits Zion guests) were being kept up from the noise, there was loud music and a dog barking by one of the pools. Our evening associate went to the pool and politely asks Tori and her friends to turn down the music, the pool was closed. When our associate left, Tori and her friends continued laughing and invited some more guests over to the pool to party. Our evening associate received another call from the Well Fit Zion manager stating she had called the police on our guests due to several of her guests complaining about the noise coming from the pool where Tori and her group of friends were partying. When the evening associate got to the pool, the police had already arrived. The police had walked our guests out of the pool area. The evening associate picked up empty bottles and discarded them. The next day they ask for a late check-out because they were trying to repair their car. We gave them a 1:00 pm check out. At about 2.30 pm housekeeping reported to management the guests were still in the room. Our manager went to the room to inform Tori and her guests that we had a reservation for this room and had to have it cleaned by 3:00pm check-in. When housekeeping went to clean the room, it smelt of cigarette smoke, and the bathroom and front door had been clawed on by the fury friend. Tori was never charged for smoking in the room nor for the scratches on the doors. Our management team are both professional and empathetic towards our guests. Our evening manager would never make a lewd comment toward a guest or anyone else, he is professional always and a very nice person. The well Fit manager and the police officer witnessed everything, our associate never did what the guests are accusing him of.
