Wow, what can I say. We are in the middle of a pandemic and Bryce Canyon Pioneer village made us feel safe and comfortable. We rented their big yellow house. It had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Nice comfortable living room, great well stocked kitchen. You could get continental breakfast every morning next door at the stagecoach gas stop. It was very reasonably priced. The pool was great everyday after a day hiking or horseback riding. Easy access to the national park and loads of other activities to do within a short drive. I can't wait to come visit again. There was a slight kerfuffle with our reservation and they were so kind and apologetic. It was very much appreciated to be treated so respectfully. The restaurant on the property was great and we enjoyed the nightly entertainment also.

Room tip: We were a group of 5 and the big house was very spacious.

Tropic, Utah lies12-15 minutes below Bryce Canyon National Park, nestled in the bottom of the valley. Which makes the area about 10 degrees warmer than up at the park. Bryce Pioneer Village has the happy location of running alongside a stream, complete with a large bridge, huge shady trees, and a tasty restaurant. It's picture perfect, and I wish I had taken pictures to post, since I feel the website does a horrible job of providing accurate photographs.

My family of 6 reserved the queen deluxe room: 3 queen beds, one bath, an extra sink and table area. The kids loved it and we had a comfortable stay. The bathroom is tiny with no air vent or bathtub. The cabins could certainly use some updating inside, yet I liked the old look on the outside. A great value for the stay, I would reserve a second time.

Don't bother with the included continental breakfast, unless all you want is self-serve waffles, yoplait yogurt and canned peaches. No protein or compelx carbs was offered, which started my hiking trip completely winded after the first 50 yards and had to break out the jerky way earlier than intended.

Best available that we could find on short notice in September. Rooms were very small and noisy but it was better than sleeping outside. The restaurant on site was pretty good but service was very slow.
Its kind of weird go next door above the gas station to eat the continental breakfast.

This location is close to Bryce Canyon. The room is small but clean. We stay only one night and have no problem. They also have a good breakfast. Only one negative thing was for us that there is no place to hang our clothes.

The location was close to Bryce Canyon and it was no problem getting to the National park early to tour. Our room was small and clean and the first day when we checked in we were able to use the hot tub and had clean towels provided. The second day it was closed without explanation and there were no clean towels available at the swimming pool. It was like 2 different experiences. There is a new facility affiliated with the hotel next door where a continental breakfast is served. They give you a 5 dollar voucher to use there, but we did not enjoy our first time there so chose to go to a restaurant for breakfast the second day. The area is small and coffee was not available for guests so people were clamoring in line waiting for the second batch. With some work I am sure this could be improved, but for now it is a bare bones breakfast operation.

We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner the second evening and felt the food was very good. They also had a solo musician performing that made the evening even more pleasant.

For the cost of a tourist area, we found value in our stay and would consider staying again.

If you’re interested in frills then you may need to keep looking.
