We stayed only one night in Vernal but this hotel made me want to stay longer. Everything you need is on-site. Pool, hot tub, food. We ate at Swain's on-site but that a separate review.
There was a high school bicycling competition in town and a lot of teenagers stayed here. We never heard a peep! Either the kids were that well behaved (LOL) or the sound proofing of the building is exceptional.
My husband, who is rather picky about beds, slept very well!
Next time we're in the area, we'll stay here for sure!!

Room Tip: We were in a corner room on the first floor and it was quiet!!

The hotel is nice, but a little run down. It could really use some updates. The breakfast was good, with a lot of choices and had a nice large area to eat. The pool and hot tub were decent and the exercise room was nice to. A lot of options for a good rate. Only thing is it could use some updating and cleaning up a bit. Overall a pleasant stay.

The room was very large, queen bed, desk and chair and a sofa to relax and watch TV, so much better than most rooms with just a bed. Also had a fridge, microwave, and decent coffee.

Breakfast was good with plenty of options, cereals, yogurt, eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits. YUM Coffee was rather good for hotel coffee.

And the price was so low, it made us think twice, but saw other reviews and said let's try it!!! And so glad we did.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the highway.

Came up for the weekend to go scuba dive the dam at Flaming Gorge and wanted to stay at a low cost no frill hotel. My wife after research chose this one. We had two rooms, one for us and one for my dive buddy. She and the hotel did an excellent job. For the price this hotel can not be beat . While it is on outskirts of town it is still only a short drive to the heart of downtown. All the staff was great and very friendly. Booth rooms were spacious with a flat screen TV as well as a couch in each room. There is a steak house in the hotel also. We left this morning and the staff was scrambling around as a breakfast worker was a no show but with a slight delay were able to put out a great breakfast. Through the craziness they were all friendly and also were taking care of the front desk. We always leave a tip for housekeeping, as we have learned they alway take great care of you for a few dollars a day as well as greatly appreciate and deserve it. We received a note from housekeeping thanking us for it also. You can't go wrong here, great value and great hotel with an excellent staff that want you to enjoy your stay.

We liked our stay at the Quality Inn, but guests should expect a dated hotel in need of improvements. While the lobby area is attractive, the rest of the hotel really needs sprucing up. The carpet leading to the rooms is a dated flower pattern that is filthy, and the walls are covered on the lower portion with brown tweed wallpaper that is bubbling off the wall. The upper wall is stark and the ceilings are low, creating a dark space. Luckily, the rooms are large and comfortable. I would like to say that management needs to train its staff better. We needed laundry services, and the website says that valet laundry services are provided. The night clerk had no idea what we were talking about. In the morning, we pointed out to the day clerk that the booklet in the room said there was valet laundry service and we would like to use it. She said they did offer the service, but she had no idea how to use it. We decided to drive to the West End Laundry instead and drop off our own laundry. (Great service!) This is not the fault of the staff, this is management poorly training staff. Also, on the night of our arrival when we reached our room, we found it propped open. Hubby went in first and found it ready for us. It looks like housekeeping forgot to come back and lock the door. They also forgot to put the toilet paper roll on. This is why I am rating this place as average. There was also a weird smell near our room, but I think that was connected with the pool. However, this all being said, the room was large and comfortable, and even though the hotel appeared to be full, it was relatively quiet. We had a family of elephants above us, but they only stomped around early in the evening and 8 a.m. when we were already up. Breakfast was simple and the breakfast room was spacious enough to accommodate the rotating guests.
