So glad we made a reservation for two on Saturday night. Middle of January and it was very busy. Parking lot just about full for 7pm. Very attentive and friendly staff. Fresh salad bar with good selections. Nothing fancy but it’s very nice to make salad just way you want. Loved the rice salad.
My husband really enjoyed the bacon wrapped chicken and said it’s the best he’s ever had. Despite asking many questions about the baked cod, I was disappointed that it was smothered in over cooked breadcrumbs. Removed them all and the fish was excellent and tasty. Think chef should let the flavorful fish stand more on its own.
Kelsey , our waitress, was completely willing to allow me a different choice but I assured her the fish was delicious. She couldn’t have been nicer to make sure that it would be no bother and that they aim for high satisfaction.
We were seated at a table near the gas fireplace and it was very cozy, especially on a freezing cold night.
Another plus is that there are several dining rooms so the place doesn’t get too noisy like so many others.
We understand there are beautiful views at lunch and that would be another nice time to return.
